Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? I'm still not sure if this is all because they're trying to force sweeping societal change, or because when we're energy independent, we don't have a reason to fuck around in the sand box. The later seems more plausible, and I think someone mentioned that Hillary Clinton told someone that disruptions in the oil supply chain are the best excuse for nation building.

I'd think it's both. You can't enact societal change when people are prosperous and happy with everything, and they're greedy enough to go back to the sandy shitholes at everybody else's expense.

So you have a bunch of corporations who think that all these communities are untapped markets that will be a veritable El Dorado of profits. What corporations don't realize is that LGBT people probably already used their products and nobody ever made a big deal about it.

They are hoping to get gas prices to surge so people will have “no choice” but to start using electric vehicles. However the infrastructure for it is so poor that in practice it’s the people who make less than six figures getting squeezed, which will cut their spending on shit that Biden desperately hopes will kickstart the economy. Looks like the printers at the Federal Reserve aren’t catching a break anytime soon.
