Will say (not to further derail, but...) the artist is known on some circles for drawing diaper shit, so she's not exactly some innocent. To be quite honest the way troons and gendies cling to it is a reflection of the fact they are also maladjusted social failures, except they don't have the talent to really go about capitalizing on their own suffering in a meaningful (or "meaningful", depending on who you ask I guess) way.

It's definitely interesting and (slight PL) as someone of a similar demographic I do relate to a lot of her experience, and I find her book valuable for speaking to it in a society that is only just beginning to accept people like her. But there's absolutely a reason woketards cling to the superficial shit in her book, and why troons (who are sexual degenerates at their best) see themselves in her so vividly - she's a poorly adjusted likely autist who has no real prospect in life until she does this book, has major mommy issues, has degenerate sexual tastes (ie diapers), is basically a kissless virgin incel but as a woman, and has warped views on relationships that heavily inform how she sees them (to the extent she hires an escort, which is exceedingly rare even for lesbian women).

Sorry to sperg, I'm just sick of seeing wokies on twitter gas this book up because they're weebs/degens/etc. as if it's the second coming of Christ. The fanbase is largely cancer, so maybe I'm being too harsh/contrarian.

The fact that she recognizes her flaws and is able to make something successful out of it immediately makes her better than most troons imo. In later books, she focuses more on self reflection (the title is "My Solo Exchange Diary", so the who book is letters to herself) and documents her moving out of her parents house, relying less on her mother, and striving to be independent, so I think that with that knowledge I have a higher opinion of her.

But man, I did not know she had a diaper fetish, and God that fucking degenerate.

when I was younger I would get mad that women have all these advocacy groups while men had very few or none.
but it looks like I was wrong because these groups don't seem to give a shit about women at all, infact men are far better off never having them in the first place.

Whatever everyone thinks, you all got me interested enough to order it yesterday. Looking forward to reading it - I've been to Japan as a visitor and the gay scene there is vibrant, but also very repressed at the same time (like in most of Southeast Asia). And obviously, there's next to no lesbian scene - it's almost exclusively for (married) men, who then leave their wives at home on the weekends to go suck dick.

I’ve mentioned this person on here before, but I met a female non binary (but who was on T and passed as male better than most of the FTMs we seen on here) who really wanted to join an Episcopal monastery. Now Episcopalians are quite a bit more liberal than Catholics (they ordain women and openly gay people). Anyway, they told her ‘well you’re non-binary, we can’t have that, this is a place for men’, which I strongly suspect was the saving face way of saying ‘no, you’re a woman’. She was also denied as a candidate for the priesthood in her diocese, which I am reasonably sure ordains women, but they don’t want ‘enbies’. What would you even call em? They’d meltdown at ‘Father’, meltdown at ‘Mother’...’Parent’?

Japanese people have commodified all aspects of human contact. In addition to straight up brothels and other directly sexual services you can also hire a woman man or maybe even something in between to provide human contact. This can be as basic as a service where in a "girlfriend" sends you texts and messages, cafes where you can pay for someone to hug or cuddle you, as well as host clubs were men and women will spend ridiculous amounts of money to sit and have crappy drinks with attractive people who pretend to be interested in them. There doesn't seem to be room to build real intimacy and connection.

There is a HUGE disconnect between the sexes in Japan. Many Japanese women are expatriating to america and fewer have interest in being in traditionally female relationships. I can see how a Japanese woman really wouldn't be able to express and have the agency to reject hetero-normativity.

Slight PL: I have been to Tokyo twice and while I was there I took some time to visit the Shinjuku Ni Chome area. This is the very small gay area inside of Tokyo's nightlife district. These clubs and bards are freaking TINY. I went into a lesbian bar that was probably the size of a small office. There wasn't much room for more than the bar. I cringe hard thinking of troons fighting their way into these spaces.

We obviously didn't go to the lesbian bars and I am actually surprised to hear there's even one. But the sizes of the bars are true for the gay ones too - some of them felt like walk-in closets that had been repurposed.

It takes some next-level attention whoring to have your "identity" rejected not once but twice by the Episcopal church. No doubt the diocese was grossed out by this person prioritizing her complicated fake sexuality over her faith, but that's what happens when you fuck with the basic tenets and traditions of a religion the way the Episcopal church has done. They're going to keep getting more and more of these bizarre requests until they cave and they have entire nunneries full of Sister Eefjes.

I think it’s a mix of biology and the porn obsessed (which is most of them). It’s fairly hard to do a truly feminine passing voice as a man (or at least I’m assuming so from hearing male friends try it before). HRT doesn’t affect MTF voices at all and the concept of vocal chord surgery is still (rightly) not very popular.

They do that weird california bimbo valley girl accent too, which always gives them away because nobody sounds like that outside of porn. I actually don’t know why they do that. I think because the closest most of them come to women is through porn and their fellow troons. Their voices always sound off.

I know voice training is a thing because some of them talk about getting voice training therapy - they just always suck at it. Only so much you can do I reckon. Testosterone is a pretty strong hormone - you can see it’s effects really well in detransitioned females who never seem to get a regular voice back.

You’re 100% right. Even the most makeup caked and light bone structured guy is immediately given away as soon as you hear his voice lmao
