Years ago I toured the Old City in Jerusalem and I remember our guide explaining how everyone wanted this one piece of land/rock because they thought (but had no proof of) Jesus being anointed there, but another group thought it was where THEIR savior had been anointed, but again, no one really knew, just rumors....and I finally asked without irony: "So they're all just fighting over a rock?"

And the guide kind of laughed nervously, said yes, and everyone else in the group laughed nervously too, and it was then that I looked around the barren desert and knew the Middle East was truly Clown World.
 
I love how a skyrocket from Gaza is called a terrifying rocket, and a massive 500 pound bomb from Israel is called an "exchange". The most one sided fight ever.
