A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

I know nothing about weightlifting...but thats like...two 25lb weights on each side? so like 50/50...100 lbs total. That's mediocre in terms of what men lift right? It does not seem impressive to me but if you're an out of shape dude calling yourself a woman 100lbs is impressive?

I'd assume those are kilos, so more than twice what you're estimating. 100 kilos plus ~25 for the bar is ~275 lbs.

Tranny takeover: not a drill

This is a bit of powerlevelling but I find these articles very weird, not to say it's bullshit, but I go to a college in a very liberal city in a very liberal country (not the US) and before I started, I thought I'd see something like this happen aswel but it didn't happen at all. Granted it's not medical school but it's still health related. Pregnancy, hormones and physiology are still major topics and at no point did anyone get offended by pregnant women, menstruating women, lactating women, etc. I was actually surprised, we did have a tranny asking dumb questions but that's it.

Is this shit limited to just a few very bad colleges/universities? Is this a US only problem? Sorry for the powerlevel but my experience is just the complete opposite of that article so it's weirds me out. Like that part about the books being rewritten, we have new versions too, but our physiology and anatomy book still uses the normal terminology everywhere, it doesn't even have a chapter on trans stuff.

You are not wrong in your perception, it is prevalent in US universities, also Ivy League, because the rhetorical underpinnings from which this (Queer Theory) and ideas about racism (Critical Race Theory) have their origin in US Academia, rough begin around 1960 onwards. (For a thorough introduction you should give Cynical Theories by Lindsay and Pluckrose a read!)
The thing is that it is spreading to Europe too, alone in Germany and the Netherlands you old universities now sporting Gender or Queer studies.
People who leave these studies usually are not competent/skilled enough to reach the top, but middle management positions are ubiquitous as they start low-key injecting their dogma into protocols, school guides.
This often with little resistance as what they espouse “social justice” and “inclusivity” on the surface sounds rather positive and unobjectionable, but have different meanings and definitions in their field.
This loss through translation is part incidental, but so prevalent that more critical voices are saying that it is an intentional feature.

They get their foot in the door and enter like a trojan horse: once in they get more like-minded people in and that is when the more ludicrous demands start.
This is what has been happening in the US these past decades and now we get to see the results: a slow boil, that is now spilling over.
