Store clerk breaks wine bottle on angry customer’s head, Louisiana video shows

A Louisiana gas station clerk has been arrested after police in New Iberia accused him of hitting an upset customer in the head with a wine bottle.

Saleh Ahmed was arrested Thursday on a charge of aggravated second-degree battery, police said.

Video taken by a bystander allegedly shows Ahmed and a customer arguing at the Hopkins One Stop on Wednesday, but the verbal dispute quickly escalates when the customer punches the plexiglass partition between them.

Ahmed walks out from behind the counter, holding a full bottle of red wine and strikes the other man in the head, video shows. The customer grabs the cashier’s throat and he hits him a second time, shattering the bottle.

They throw a few more swings at each other before the customer retreats through the front door.

Video of the fight has been shared on social media and YouTube. (Warning: the video depicts violence that may be disturbing to some.)

The argument reportedly happened because Ahmed asked the customer to count out his money as he was paying, according to KLFY.

According to police, the customer was taken to a hospital for his injuries and later released.

Ahmed is being held at the Iberia Parish Jail.

The clerk asked the guy to count out his money, so why flip the fuck out? Unless you're doing something shady. Or you're so bitchmade and are so emotionally fragile that you can't be given simple, reasonable demands without completely losing your shit.

The messaging has become if you are a certain shade you cannot be questioned by someone of a different shade. If I were more conspiracy driven I would kind of wonder if it was being done intentionally.

I don't blame that clerk one bit. Fuck dealing with assholes who can't show basic human decency and just start smashing shit. I imagine that wasn't the first, second, or fortieth time that clerk had to deal with that shit.

That headline makes it sound like like he went crazy and attacked a customer.

The customer had it coming.

I have relatives that own a liquor store and apparently in the industry, ‘white Supremacy’ involves not stealing, being polite, paying properly, conducting business in a forthright and efficient manner, and not causing dramas when service is refused.

Even white alkies and redneck trash still understand that they may need to go to the same store at some point in the future and act accordingly. Why niggers have a ‘zero to violent in .2 of a second’ chimpout switch is a mystery to me.

There’s an old military saying: ‘the standard you walk past is the standard you set’. Why contemporary American culture has decided to walk past a standard of violence, thuggery, coonishness, tantrums and crime by niggers is a mystery to me.

Things aren’t going to change until our society stops making excuses for TNB and stops punishing people who respond to violent coonery with violence of their own.

A nice, well-made slapjack would have worked better for putting that jigaboo's lights out non-lethally. But I'm not up on the legality of such devices in Louisiana. Here's hoping Saleh Ahmed gets his charges dropped.
