I would assume that to be true, as from what we've seen there is nothing that calls for the animals to be taken away. That is a high bar to clear, and being overstocked and poorly cared for doesn't rise to it.

I think there is no way that the sheriff okay'd the living conditions of the alpacas. Colorado law will fuck you if you don't provide adiquite housing for animals or adiquite weather protection. As seen from the casualties from the winter they don't really provide either of those.
