I think that's supposed to be cosplay of a video that was relatively popular, where ponies were replaced by ubermasculine men to show how funny the saccharine world is.

Also, the gender distribution somehow was apparently 60/40 male/female. Lots of female spergs too I guess? Given the above post I'd guess that's true.
 
One time i saw a little girl wearing a MLP shirt and i was so disgusted i kicked her down a flight of stairs. Fucking bronies are brainwashing them earlier and earlier i guess.

I've always felt really bad for Lauren Faust. She made a bunch of my favorite shows growing up and now she's only going to be remembered for fucking pony shit.

It's even sadder when this is technically the only show she made (she only worked on PPG and Foster's), and it's the one show she never actually wanted to make to begin with. At least she's supposedly at peace with it.

While she may be at peace, there can still be regret in knowing full well that the show you worked in will forever be known for creating one of the most autistic fandoms.

She's in a happier place now - working at Sony with old CN creators Genndy Tartakovsky and David Feiss. I hear she's directing a film of her own. I don't think she'll be able to escape the whole pony thing. It'll haunt her for the rest of her life.
