Went ahead and fixed it up! Honestly, doing these edits gives me something to do besides Genshin Impact and Animal Crossing. The stars are a bit sloppy, I'll admit, but I'm pretty happy with the rest of it.

Aight it's been a while and I've a bunch of redraw WIPs but the only one I bothered finishing as of now is this one because of how ugly the original is.

The Egbert depicted in the original was actually supposed to be June Egbert but I just opted to draw John as Egbert in the original just looked like they had a mullet.

The absolute state of them making Griffith a 'transman'. Like...talk about being their own worse enemy because lol. Griffith is ambiguously beautiful as a man - that's kind of his thing especially when he attracts Charlotte. So to be like 'he's a secretly a woman! That's why he's so beautiful!' is so stupid and the antithesis to their whole 'clothes aren't gendered and gender blah blah blah'. So a pretty man is just a woman? Gotcha.

Also Griffiths did nothing wrong.

So with this redraw, I wanted to draw to draw a parody/shit-post type of deal. Original post by Neoguri Ramyun can be found with this link here:



I generally like Souda from Dangan Ronpa and the idea of dudes crossdressing but I don't ever think he'll ever do it unless he's trying to impress Sonia. My guess is also that Sonia wouldn't be into him no matter what he does to impress her. So, I wanted to pay around with the playboy bunny idea that the original artist had and put a twist to it.

Personally I thought this was a genderbent version of Souda when 1st seeing this and I think this artist here is a beginner. There's some stuff on the image that looks pretty decent (in particular with the hands and mouth. However, I know that the artist can improve more with color theory, filling in some missing spots and faces.

i wonder how they traced your fixed art from this thread back to you, your style is unique but idk how they pinned it on you specifically, unless you're like famous or something

You captured the characters personality's perfectly. Between Kazuchi doing it to simp for Sonia and Hiyoko being a little shit

I couldn't help but like this mermaid, even with the SJW aspects. The tail is gorgeous, the sparkles are beautiful, I love the lighting effects, it's actually really pretty and cute. The big issues, imo, were the stretch marks (which, if she's fat because she's a mermaid and has blubber, she wouldn't have fucking stretch marks) and the weird green going on in the image. Like, this mermaid's got a pink tail with cyans and magentas and purples, why the green out of nowhere and only on her head?? That's not even contrast in character design, that's just a bad color choice.
So I just tried to paint over the stretch marks and make the hair/eyes match the tail, and figured while I was at it I'd try to get rid of some of the icky green-ness in the whole image. Like, fuck, she's a mermaid with a pink tail, can't she have a pinkish skin tone? Why do SJW artists always go for the worst shades of brown? I just don't get it. It's not like you have to have yellowy/green skin to be black, come on.
