Unless a person saw footage of this shit, all the liberal buzzwords and deboonked memes like ANTIFA and BLM are not violent and definitely not filled with communists. Plus the woke minorities over there are probably worse than in the USA thanks to the law on their side and no equivalent of a 1st amendment.

Yes, but it has to be filed, because he needs as many possible grounds for appeal as he can get. So when it is denied, every other appeal point (conveniently mentioned in his brief for the new trial motion) is still there, and also, that the denial of the motion for a new trial was reversible error. Lawyers often file motions like this that they know are unlikely to be granted, and at this point, he's making arguments for the appeals court.

Best case, it's actually granted. This has been an absolute shit show. Worst case, he's got a bunch of pages of argument in for the appeals court that doesn't even come under his page limit there.
