These people legitimately hate themselves and are desperate to cover it up. They're like those who get plastered in tattoos, wear freaky clothes or get a shitload of piercings and think it makes them any more special or unique than the day they were born (hardly surprising there's such an overlap between gender specials and those other groups). It doesn't matter how much you deface your body, you're still the same person. The more you try to run away from this fact the more deranged and unhappy you'll become.

The unhinged overcompensation is what makes them interesting, but other than that they honestly tend to be pretty fucking boring.
