All incel ideology boils down to resentful kissless virgins speculating why Stacy won't give them the time of day and become their sexual maidservant. Taking dating advice from almost anyone else is an improvement.

That said, dating is a cesspool of whores, players, and flakes. I don't begrudge incels and the like for loathing it. It was trash years ago when I met my wife, I can only imagine that it's gotten even worse since.

The advice is get off the computer, find some good hobbies, maybe read a few books, try sports, potentially start a new career, etc. You have to be respectable if you want anyone to really like you or take you seriously. Outward and inward respect are some of the strongest social traits you can have, and they can be gained through hard work. When people give the advice "Don't think about women/sex do it for yourself," it's good, genuine advice. It sounds like a platitude but it's really not. If you're not up for it without the female reward then you have to convince yourself of other reasons to do it.
Even if you got a girlfriend, if she's the most "exciting" thing in your life and most of your attention goes to her then you'll become clingy, making you either a creep or a whipped cuck.

Think about the "perfect you" or the you you want to be sans money and wife and really strive to be that person. The hardest part is getting started.

>Get a college degree in something that interests you
>go to a gym and start weightlifting/running (gain muscle/lose fat)
>pick up a hobby that gets you outside (not video games)
>read books (politics/art/history/science)
>work on your career/make more money
>network/find friends
>stop thinking about and chasing women

Women like confidence, and by confidence is they like a man that is confident enough in themselves to invest in themselves. If you value yourself and put the work in, others will see it.

There are two second-order effects of being socialized online that can render a man pretty much undateable:
  1. A dearth of contact with women, especially if the man has very male hobbies (video / tabletop games, programming, anime), makes it difficult to understand and approach them as people. The few women who do show up in these predominantly male communities tend to be extreme cluster-B cases or attention whores, which sours the man's perception of the fairer sex in general.
  2. Low-trust infrastructure (constant fear of being hacked, doxed, etc.) and an obsession with irony and "cringe" engender a constant suspicion of others, and an unwillingness to take what they say at face value. Incel ideology, for instance, constantly asserts that all non-cels are incredibly dishonest, always lying to each other to save face.
