I wonder if DSP is secretly happy.

Let's be real; DSP doesn't think long term. Now that people have NO CHOICE but to tip, the only way he likes to receive money anyway, he's probably delighted at that.

That's why he gets so pissed when people say that they will cheer/sub, but not tip.

If DSP was happy, his ego would turn down along with his asking for more money he does not need, which would mean more lack of content for us to witness and share.
 
Phil is complaining right now that he can't play with fans anymore,he wants to have a patreon tier where he plays with his fans but the last time he tried to do something similar the nudnik trolls would take every spot and troll him!! I'm on LSB discord server and he has a system when he plays with youtube members,he has a channel in discord that is for members only (you need to link your youtube to your discord) and he puts the code that you need to play with him there, Phil could easily have something like that but if he did have a discord that means his wheelchairs would have a place to talk that is not being moderated like North Korea since mods can't be on discord 24/7,it would also give his fans the option to DM among themselves (they have it disabled on twitch by Phil request) and they could join LSB discord if someone throws the link.

Phil can easily play with his paypigs but won't do it because it would make information harder to control.

If Phil genuinely attempted to play with the fans he has now, it would just be a repeat of this incident:
We and Phil all know that he hasn't managed to attract viewers that are any less tardy over the years, he would probably melt from the embarrassment of hearing Jakileez over the mic. He wants to see them interact with his bank account, not interact with them.

It's my firm belief that Phil does not trust a single human being in his life. Not that I think he wasn't this way beforehand but the Anonymouse leaks have been just the latest and biggest proof that Phil's hold over his fanbase is hardly absolute. He is a complete paranoiac. Now, every good dictator is, but thinking Phil is successful as a totalitarian fuckwit is the same thing as calling Three Mile Island a benefit to the surrounding environment because it was only a partial nuclear meltdown.

As always, he is trying to avoid doing any work. But if he committed to staying on Twitch and implemented BTTV, he might net more money because people would feel like the features are back. He just loves his quick, easy cash grabs when he should be looking to entice his audience. Instead, all they get is coercion.

When he first talked about paying the $5.00 a month and changing the Patreon goals I was a bit shocked. However, I told myself nothing motivates the pig like money does. But here we are 2 weeks later and nothing has changed. Holding emotes hostage and refusing to even update or pretend to give a single fuck about Patreon goals. That's the pig I know. Absolute bear minimum effort for maximum profit.

It's classic Phil behavior. Has done the same thing throughout his career and hasn't changed. I was navie to think he would try to steal ideas from others, or at least update his goals. I really think this deserves more attention, he gets close to $400 a day but can't spend $5 a month on emotes to the fans that give him the money.
 
I wonder if pokemon snap will be on the chopping block after this low performance ($39/200).

EDIT: Phil decides out of nowhere that he should ban people talking about 'raising money'. This is after repeated heavy begging tonight. He suddenly doesn't need to tolerate it!
What Phil actually means is that he is banning people calculating his annual income and posting it in chat.
Those dang detractors and their dirty basic math.
