Yep. The mum, sadly. Women are more prone to things like munchausen by proxy/ declaring their offspring as ‘indigo children’/ being pushy stage mothers etc too.

Funny/annoying/ironic that women are both the most susceptible to troon grooming yet also most likely to fight back against the lunacy hardest (see the majority of the ‘lawfare‘ associated with ‘Terf Island’).

speaking of lawfare, the EHRC (Equality and Human Rights Commission) has submitted evidence to the Forstater tribunal appeal that comes down firmly on Maya’s side, and is extremely dismissive of the first judge’s ruling (the one that came back with the idiotic conclusion that ‘there are only two sexes and sex is immutable’ was ‘unworthy of respect in a democratic society’).

The troons of Terf Island must be shitting themselves- potentially beyond too, the last cases that followed a similar clash of belief v LGBT rights were the gay cake cases, both of which came down on the side of those with the belief (I think the Northern Irish case found exactly the right line, personally, which was that a Christian baker cannot refuse to make a plain iced cake for a gay man, but they can’t be forced to pipe a pro gay slogan on top of said cake - ie, they can’t discriminate outright, but they also cannot be forced to write words they are opposed to).

Just wondering, I know a guy... who all intent and purpose seem to be kind of critical to woke ideals. However he said that his trans friends "look indistinguishable than real woman, you wouldn't know". And he spoke about him time to time. And it's a reason he's still supporting trans activism because it made someone in his life happy. (From his word, that troon is likely a HSTS though)

But it gives me doubt, how can someone not being able to see anything "off" at all? What does it mean when non troons say that a troon is unclockable?

I think passing is subjective and women are better at clocking sex than men (part of an animalistic danger-detector, fight or flight response. Men have it too but most of them don’t need to hone it, unless they are much smaller than average or have some sort of disability). If the trans person is a different race to the potential clocker, that can also make it harder (eg ladyboys look more ‘lady’ to westerners than they do to their fellow countrymen/women).

The handful of successfully passing trans people are, in my experience, absolutely horrified by modern day trans activism anyway. The ones who want to transition and fade away are not well-served by troons shrieking about ladydique.

I mentioned up thread that one of mine and my fella’s couple-friends are a classic HSTS and a ‘straight acting’ bisexual man. The TS is truly beautiful and unclockable in an image (maybe slightly too sharp in features but in a fashion model way) and most people don’t clock in public either, but if your eyes linger long enough, you start to pick up all kinds of tells, especially in gait. The fact s/he is taller than your average woman is the first giveaway and that makes you look more closely.

Anyway, said geezerbird is a classic (white!) HSTS and has little to no interest in women and uses the disabled loos or whatever. Prefers to sit with his husband and is very polite but clearly uncomfortable if the group breaks up into men/women and wouldn’t go to any events for just the women (ie hen nights) but we’re not really into that shit anyway.

When s/he’s drunk she makes quite funny jokes about having an ‘NHS issue front pocket’

I suspect loads of us probably have a friend like this and initially think that’s who ‘trans rights’ are for, it’s only when you realise that current day trans rights activists are fucking these old style transsexuals over almost as much as they are fucking women over that you allow yourself to think ‘hold on a minute’.

then you go off down the rabbit hole and find Karen White and Rachel McKinnon and you think ‘FUCK OFF’.

If this man truly cannot tell troons apart from women, that says to me that he does not care, not that these troons are flawlessly passing.

I cannot clock some of the troons posted here, but there is no reason for me to ponder this - being posted here is proof they do not pass.

If these were dating profiles I was being matched with while on a dating platform, you bet I would develop a troondar that will out-tism everyone.

There is indeed a non-zero amount of troon catfish stories, but most amount to "I was an inexperienced, desperate heterosexual who did not feel the need to look closely".

You never hear of a homosexual making such mistakes, for obvious reasons.

The guy you know is lying. He can spot the difference between women and men dressed as women, just like everyone else can.

9 times out of 10 you can tell, especially in person without 50 filters.
