A recent resurgence of intercommunity achievement hunting drama cropped up and it never occured to me that there would be a thread here about Xeinok/all this shit. Most of the drama was over VOIP, but it boiled down to people telling him and his crew to fuck right off with their achievement gestapo rules, Xeinok calling everyone stupid for not participating sooner (something that was impossible for most folks due to bans being handed out left and right for those who didn't blanket agree with everything), then people started screaming at each other about censorship and Fabio being a rapist.

So business as usual.

I've found this thread pretty enlightening, a few things I wasn't sure about were confirmed and I learned there must be something resembling a god since LUELinks archives were nuked.

I think I've heard something about this. From what I could tell being mentioned around, a number of groups like pAG and Pals along with various tracker sites have been in talks for a few weeks or so to come to an agreement over a clause in Pals' "unified" ruleset to blanket-ban anyone who unlocked an achievement with some kind of fix — I believe it was Counter-Strike: Source's Gift Grab achievement which was broken since 2011. From the sounds of it, I'm not even remotely surprised it would spiral out of control like that.

Yep, all correct. The idea was to try and hash out some rules everyone could agree on. But there are already some achievement trackers who are saying they'll do what they want.

It started out with some bitching about old grudges....which started again last night, over some "doxing".
That is, someone "doxed" another user by dropping links to things that user publicly posted on youtube.

xeinok is a manlet with rich parents who support his "hobby"

also he really wants to be famous and thinks he should be on the same level as famous speedrunners, even though he's dropping in the rankings due to some weird achievement hunter rulechange that effectively wiped out hundreds of hours of his "work"

i would actually like to see him become famous because he would probably become a top tier cow on here if he was. Definitely someone who deserves a thread, if just to keep tabs on them. On the other hand, he's been streaming pretty much since streaming was a thing and he hasn't cracked 1k subs. It's time to give up, friend!

Short version: Points are calculated differently now, specifically to devalue achievement spam games. In raw achievements he's still pretty high on the list, but people tend to prefer the point rankings for competition reasons and he's done pretty much every spam game there is since the first one.

And he'd do better as a streamer if he'd stream more than once every six fucking months.

Or engage with his audience, or be quasi-interesting when he streams. I went in once when he was still bragging about it on LL and it was him shooting dinos in a box on a custom map "grinding out" an achievement. I was the only person in there while he stared glass eyed and silent at the screen for like 5 minutes.

I am ashamed to say that I know what game that was just from the description.
He does have a major interaction problem. And it doesn't help that he talks like he's a library instead of having a mic an inch from his face.

If I recall correctly, one of the only "interesting" streams he did was of him and some other Pals grinding Red Orchestra: Ostfront, and yet that was only the case because one or two people came on to troll and fuck it up for everyone trying to grind that game. Other than that, the only thing you ever get with him is just his vacant thousand-yard stare at his fucking computer screen "playing" a 10-minute shovelware clicker.

He had a sorta interesting stream in 2019/2020 or so. It was a 24/7 of every idle/clicker game on Steam all at once on screen at the same time. Not super interesting, but an oddity that was mildly entertaining for an hour or so. More recently I think he's been doing the weekly RetroAchievement whatever they call it. Which is mostly just him gazing at a monitor like a deer in the headlights and muttering here or there.

Sometimes one of his girlfriends comes in and I gotta say, they freak me right the fuck out. They straight up act like children, coddling up to him, sitting in the corner playing Animal Crossing.....
 
Big happening, small drama:
The mod, Rantsi, downloaded something sent to him by a Destiny 2 player and it hacked his shit. Aside from most of his personal stuff being rocked, the hacker completely wiped the 11 year history of 100Pals off the face of the internet.
