I'm not sure if femboys are technically trans (there are a lot of trans people on the server though) so if this isn't the right place to post just tell me and I'll delete it.
In the past week, me and a group of friends found a pretty fucked Discord, after randomly looking up LGBT+ discords on a public list, we found a Femboy discord, called Femboy Fan Kingdom, while at first it looks pretty normal for a discord about maladjusted men wanting to be anally pounded while wearing girl skirts, the more you look into it the more disgusting, and without a doubt illegal it is.
"Child Porn, It depends" - 12th level intellect
on the discord, you can get a lot of roles, which also involve roles about being underage, specifically from 13-17. while its pretty common for people to be underage on discord, its not common to have those roles be included in NSFW chats. these were public for some time until the owner, called Lola, had to unwillingly change the roles because discord was about to ban them so kids couldn't see porn anymore, or post it. (they had to even create a rule to stop people from posting nudes) (again, nudes posted in a chat made with the intension of including children)
Lola himself (herself?) (It?) is about as weird as you can expect a discord femboy owner, hard nipples included, sharing his "advice" to a bunch of kids about how to be a better femboy.

For a coping mechanism for a mental illness, I know of hundreds of people who went trans (thanks KF) and it's like their entire life became a train wreck for every one person I'm aware of it genuinely helping.

taking cross sex hormones messes you up hard, both on a physical and emotional level. makes you ugly as fuck, changes your emotional reaction to different situations, ruins your libido (when blocking T in men) or sends it into overdrive (when giving excess T to women), etc. and many get surgery on top of that, which basically turns them into lifelong cripples.
also, if you didn't have it to begin with, then getting tranny surgery might actually give you real body dysphoria, as in feeling alienated from your physical body because of how fucked up it is now.
with all that in mind, how could their lives NOT turn into trainwrecks? think about living with so many fucked up problems, so much damage on your body, having to deal with it every single day for the rest of your life. i would certainly go crazy from it.

The transwoman -> trans woman shift was a particular moment in tumblr time and was probably the beginning of my peaking. Any constant updating of language sort of seems like they're opposed to actual mainstream adoption and made me realize they were just playing games instead of trying to come up with a bearable solution for people with dysphoria.
I also remember they used to use trans* and tr*ns or tr-ns to include nonbinary people. Lots of handwringing over that. This person was using "transwoman" to describe themselves 8 years ago, so that's how fast the change happened.
