This is kind of a microcosm of BLM as a whole. Well, they are as a general thing but they have no real objection to any of his actual reasoning, they're just sperging angrily. Guess what? Prosecutors always prosecute the defendant too. And what kind of idiot defense lawyer would bring an expert who was going to testify against his client?

The jury can take into account the witness's previous history of testimony, and the defense can more or less get as much time as they need on cross to go into it. You know, "and have you ever, once, testified a use of force was unjustified?" And force a straight yes or no answer with no evasion.
