This was the impression I got too, am I way off or did his claiming the prone restraint wasn't a use of force surprise Nelson? Isn't it normal to run your witness through your script and potential questions on cross? I don't know if Nelson is just overwhelmed by working this what seems to be alone, and apparently the prosecution side is still giving him mega-dumps of unsorted information he has to review instead of sleeping. I hope he gets another use of force person who works with the MPD in to clarify whether this was sanctioned procedure as taught to Chauvin because that's the main argument as far as I'm concerned
