Late to the party, but I just found out that r/Chinesetourists has been banned. I wonder if r/Aznidentity or other similar Subreddits and "Reddit user activists" played a part in its demise. Not surprised that Reddit never cared until the political climate changed (remember r/Watchpeopledie?). The Subreddit reinforced the stereotype that many Chinese tourists behave badly overseas. I'm sure there are tons of Subreddits which center around mocking people and are allowed to stay simply because they're "not targeting vulnerable groups".

Also, I love how r/News has specific rules stating that they don't tolerate "celebrating the death of someone", even though you know the rest of Reddit doesn't give a shit. Like the shitshow that was Rush Limbaugh's death thread.

I've noticed this guy before on askgaybros, mainly, anytime there was a tranny post, most often being "would u date me?" he'd be there to accuse the gay men who don't want pussy of being transphobes. He is a militant extreme leftist, who basically hates everyone who doesn't subscribe to his extremist views, and has the US vs THEM mentality.

Often by a new account, often suspiciously quickly cross posted/screen shotted sometimes to AHS, but usually to one of the 30 anti-gendercritical-whatever-anti-DropTheT subs that have nothing to complain about now. Always zeroing in on the worst comments that usually get deleted by mods anyway, ignoring all the super polite answers. There are some ftms out to get AGB with impotent autistic fury.

I love those subs because even ignoring the deviance of Reddit idiots, they all make comments about how "I apply to 300 jobs every week!!! And get NO calls back!??" First of all, it's clear they aren't curating their resumes to the type of job they're applying for, and they likely don't know how to write a resume anyway. But what's even more amazing is all the whining, like it's somehow everyone else's fault but theirs. "Am I unemployable? No. It's the 714 companies that rejected me that are wrong."

I remember this Chinese couple who was in my tour group while hiking Athabasca glacier. The guide was very strict and specific about following his path exactly while hiking up the glacier, especially in the snow. He warned that if you fall in a hole or you deviate off the safe path you were almost guaranteed to die from either the fall or hypothermia if the fall didn't kill you. This Chinese couple, especially the guy did not pay attention at all during this lecture and I often saw him a couple hundred yards away from the rest of the group. The last straw for the guide was when the guide was able to let us look in a hole that formed in the glacier. He only let us look in it one at a time and he had to hold us so we didn't fall in. The hole was easily a couple hundred feet deep and this Chinese tourist just wanders up to the side while the guide is holding someone else. The guide just yanked the guy away from the hole grabbed him and unloaded on him doing his best Gunnery Sergeant Hartman impression. The tourist eventually got the message and followed the group for a while but eventually kept wandering off.

Why do Chinese tourists have no sense of self-preservation?
