Not a full hour long special but at the top of the Pandemic, they had much of the OG cast doing social distancing and Monk, being Monk, thinks disease can now travel through the internet.

I had a hollering at Disher, God, I missed these dorks.

I'm glad that even if it had literally nothing to do with the subject of this thread, that at least somebody got something good out of it.

They would absolutely turn Dexter into an incel creep, the entire schism between him and his sister was all about how "girly" things and "girly" girls are entirely alien to a nerdy male, including one episode where he gets lost in her room and it's a parody of freakin' Apocalypse Now.

They were just joking around, purposely taking things to an absurd degree, but in hindsight it does hilariously remind you of the war between women and male nerds that's been happening for almost the last decade.
But as the show went on they showed Dexter and Dee Dee did get along fine and understood each other enough to the point their biggest conflict was just her destroying the lab while dancing... and then Dexter was so accustomed to it that when he "fired" her, he ended up missing her so bad he hired a stripper to roleplay as Dee Dee...

Even in the comics Dexter and Dee Dee could get along:

If Dexter is an incel creep in a woke reboot, what would Mandark be? Would he be a misunderstood POC who is the way he is because Dexter doesn't want negroids in the scientific community?

They did tone it down and make their relationship less antagonistic as the show went on, but early on it was pretty antagonistic, I believe the Apocalypse Now parody was pretty early on, if not season 1.

That's a good question, I can imagine Mandark going "Woke" and being a "Simp", a lot of male nerds got a huge guilt complex over what happened.

I am betting on this.
Mandark is the incel-like simp and Dexter is an insufferable Sheldon Cooper copy.
They create a Bliss OC for this too that rivals both.
Agent Honeydew is proud femme of colour.
The Silver Spoon is even gayer than he already was.

Blank space: Dexter gets Rule 63'd for an episode.

The Cartroon Network Extended Universe

Dexter: Dee Dee, get out of my basement-- I mean, laboratory!
Dee Dee: Dexter, Dexter, this is my new dance, the TWERKING UNICORN!
Dexter: BAZOOPER

Then there's a love triangle between him, Dee Dee, and Troondark Susan. Of course there's "foe sexual tension" between Dexter and Susan (because deviantart degenerates can't live without their fanfic fodder) but Susan likes Dee Dee. Then Dee Dee is lesbian poly with Mee Mee and Lee Lee. And Dexter is the least smart character because Susan is a troon and therefore superior, Dee Dee is even smarter because she's female and therefore superior, and Mee Mee and Lee Lee are even more smarter because they're beoble of colars.

I never watched shows like Psych, Monk, and Chuck back then but I have noticed they're on Prime and it's definitely something I'm interested in now,
Early Psych is great, For all the jerking off that Breaking Bad, The Wire and the Sopranos get..I would rather watch Psych over again than any of those because the early episodes are so hilarious. It gets a little worse as things go on (fuck the Yin/Yang episodes outside of the first one).

Monk is not as good..but it is worth a watch (ouside of the ending..JESUS FUCK the soltuion to Trudy's Murder was god damn lame)

another one of the USA shows from that era to watch is Burn Notice, it goes on exactly one season too long but the early shit is super good and..you get Bruce Cambell as a Drunken MILF chasing ex navy seal. Jeffery Donovan deserves a real movie IMO.

That doesn't matter. He'll probably be presented as a gifted mixed race child with red hair like Malcolm X but is written if Neil deGrasse Tyson was a kid and woke.
So, he'll be obnoxious and called out for stealing other people's work like Tyson was?
