Rate me late, but when I first heard about this I figured it was another nothingburger and didn’t care to find the footage. But now that I see it...the term “negligent homocide” comes to mind. Aren’t Tasers yellow specifically to avoid this shit?
Tasers are yellow, much lighter, have lights that come on and light up the target before you fully depress the trigger, are usually in a different holster type or position etc etc.

She's a fuck up and only got in the way. Well, she also killed a dude.

Defense: Shows body cam footage that explains exactly what happened
Prosecution: Does a play-by-play with the witness of the events that already were shown on the body cam footage

Break and already talking about the next break after that :story:

Not only that, tasers are also lighter and this department's policy, like most police departments, is to have tasers mounted in a holster on the non-dominant side of the officer. This shooting was completely negligent.

Even better she's suspended on full pay while they investigate. Chauvin and the other officers were fired pretty much instantly (2 days) after the Floyd thing.

They've already had a press conference where the chief was defending her hard while the force sent multiple high up officers to be witnesses for the prosecution here.
