I noticed in the What's Up live from yesterday that her chat mentioned a "BBW Bachelorette Show" and she said it would be a great idea for TLC. Is it possible she watches shows like 1000 lb Sisters and My 600 lb Life? What would she get from that? Sounds like she knows deep down the morbidly obese are just freak shows, but I guess she is able to delude herself into thinking she is somehow different. It's truly remarkable.
 
She has admitted in the past to watching My 600 Lb Life. In fact, like ALR, she said it's one of her favorite shows. I think it's because they look at those people as being worse off than they are, so, she can at least say to herself at least she isn't that bad.

The problem is that both ALR and Chantal are far closer to being that bad than they realize - especially ALR, who has likely only avoided being bed-bound because she's still fairly young and her body hasn't fully given out due to her massive weight.
 
Guys I don't know why you're all so worried about Peetz' depression. Chantal is going to put him in a dress and paint his face with her clown makeup. That'll fix everything right up. :tomgirl:
 
I know everyone's saying chantal should be more considerate and caring toward peetz as he's having a hard time mentally but where was his caring friendship when she was off meeting god knows who in dark car parks by herself? I know if my friend told me they were doing that I'd read them the riot act and tell them they are stupidly reckless. Peetz didn't care. Friendship works 2 ways and neither of them play their part. They truly deserve each other.

She's spent years breaking him down, he knows better than to bitch and whine at her. I'm pretty sure he's outright stated that he just lets her do whatever she wants and why shouldn't he? I certainly wouldn't want to deal with the fit Chantal's likely to throw when she's defied. I think he does care about her in a weird way but only because she's all he has (asides from maybe his mother).

She often talks about watching those shows. I wonder if that's one reason that she continues to fart and be a pig on camera. She sees Amy and Tammy doing the same thing, and their show is one of the most popular on TLC. She probably wonders why people don't find it charming when she does it. She doesn't realize that they get away with it because they have other redeeming qualities, which she does not have. She recently admitted being an attention whore, and I have no doubt she is just praying that TLC rings her up someday.

Oh i absolutely agree that Chantal is a shit friend i was just saying that imo peetz is a shit friend too. Hence why they deserve each other.
 
I'm curious as to what everyone thinks is stage of the cycle she is in right now. It's not exactly going vegan/ghost/nomoremukbangs. So where does it fall? Travel/GlowOn/WalkingSlope, etc

Rate me autistic but I'm starting to wonder if she's back on the vyvanse. The sudden energy (going for her "hikes"), 5 hour livestreams, the sudden confidence/libido/personality change, her reported lack of appetite and aversion to food/the kitchen, her reported weightloss, "I'M HYPER AND YOU'RE GONNA GET IT!"... even the increased pot consumption (she didn't like the "wired" feeling of her pharmaceutical speed last time, so this could be her answer to that).

ETA: and the current jaw pain/TMD flare-up...

Again, this is pure speculation.
