The people in charge of Denazification soon came to the same conclusion as the Frankfurt School who advised them; that fascism and Nazism are the the logical extreme of Western values, and so they expanded the program to encompass the whole Western world by incrementally defining more and more things as fascist.

Well, you see, the people who have their spaces invaded have different beliefs and ideas, the wrong beliefs and ideas, those that must be stamped out, and not be allowed to spread. Colonization is wrong, and colonizers are evil, unless we're the colonizers, and we're the ones doing the colonizing, because we're doing it for a good reason, and our beliefs are the correct ones. If you refuse to change your ignorant, wrong beliefs willingly, then you'd better prepare to have your entire life fucking ruined. Colonialism = power + invasion or something like that. So it is perfectly okay if liberals invade conservative spaces, atheists invade Christian spaces, women invade men's spaces, or trannies invade women's spaces.

It's funny how a movement with the word "justice" in its name is far removed from that concept, huh? The more things change, the more they stay the same isn't just an idiom but a fact of life! Yesterday's rebels are today's petty tyrants. In my own interactions with SJWs offline in the past few years, I've noticed they don't object to being called the establishment. Some of them savor it, albeit in a very blatantly spiteful way. They KNOW they're petty tyrants, but they don't care. They've also gotten cocky and assume no one but fringe elements of the right will ever rebel against them. I remember, as I'm sure many of you do too, that the conservatives once thought they were invincible too. Another relevant quote comes to mind: Time makes fools of us all!

I can't find the image I'm thinking of, but you're supposed to think Red Skull is the villain, obviously, but as you read his monologue, you start thinking, "shit, this guy's making some pretty good points." Speaking as someone who used to be a woke neolib, for these people, associating a viewpoint with a Bad Person™ is enough to discredit it. For instance;
• Nationalism is what Hitler did, so it must be Bad™
• Environmentalism is what hippies do, so it must be Bad™
• Socialism is what Stalin did, so it must be Bad™
• Traditionalism is what Mussolini did, so it must be Bad™.

Therefore, in these people's minds, seeing a Bad Person™ say these things just reinforces their beliefs that those people are bad. If you're a history sperg, you'll know that Nazi Germany had a word for the state (or in this case, the corporations that control the state) influencing every bit of society and subtly manipulating beliefs. If you're not, the word is Gleichschaltung.
 
The one thing that I haven't seen anyone give an answer on regarding the Peterson/Red Skull thing: is Peterson actually even mad about it? Is it a case where he heard about it, gave a typical Peterson response along the lines of "Well this is obviously silly", and then moved on? I've heard a few things about this, but nothing about him being pissed about it.
