Mojo Jojo Jr is a white guy. Did Mojo adopt/steal a random child and was just like 'Yes, this will do. This is satisfactory! The feeling I am having towards this child is acceptance' ? Guess it would be considered less racist than hiring some black actor and having him paint his face lime green and act like a chimpanzee.

PPG was probably one of the earliest cartoons I ever loved. And shit like this will just make me appreciate it even more.

They already did that with Gorilla Grodd in The Flash, but the model was so detailed, it could only be used in a handful of episodes. The same thing happened with King Shark, though that lead to an awesome brawl between the two in one of the few good episodes of the later seasons.

Tara is a known drama queen. She made a big deal about not being able to voice Bubbles again when the reboot came out. She also just a whiney bitch too.

Fuck substance, no, all the writers think they need to do to make this series memorable is shove in a billion "Childhood RUIIINED" concepts in at once.

"HURR HURR LOOK GAIZ, WE MADE THE SWEET CUTESY ONE A HARDCORE DRUG ADDICT SLUT!"
There'll probably be a sex scene with Bubbles (or Buttercup, if they want to have muh gay rep) just to prove how adult the show is. No doubt there'll be copious scenes of Bubbles shooting up heroin and at some point in the show she'll come close to ODing.

The whole romance plot with Blossom and Clive is gonna be some overwrought Riverdale shit. We're in for a shitload of cringe.

A "gritty live action reboot" of the Powerpuff Girls of all things is so on it's face absurd, like is this a real show and not a comedy skit?

Coincidently I actually went back and watched the original Powerpuff Girls pilot from 1995 earlier this year (the one with Fuzzy Lumpkins) for the first time in probably around 25 years and and while there was a lot I had forgotten it all came back to me as I watched it from my memories of the first time I saw it as a kid in 1995.

It was a nice trip down memory lane but it was also unsettling because it was like damn, 25 years have passed me by already? Now I look and see this gritty reboot and it's just ridiculous how retarded things have gotten over these last 25 years, I mean come on now.

I miss 1995 lol.
