Because sometimes, what's best for you is the very thing you don't want to happen. I don't want to see my country burn down and BLM certainly doesn't want to see ends of some smoking barrels.

I seriously doubt we're even on the same side of this thing, but the dumber and meaner this shit gets, the more I think, let's just get it on, see what happens.

My country didn't burn down last year and neither did anywhere that didn't need to burn, with few if any exceptions.

This is a self correcting problem and it needs to be seen through to the end.

Remember all that stink the incoming administration made about rightwing/national infiltration of the national guard? Wanting leftwing purity tests for the soldiers guarding the capital?

Next time the national guard faces off against BLM, a shot will be fired from the national guard side by minority left wing soldier, and the rest of the inexperienced baby faces packed in the nat guard unit open fire in the ensuing panic. Kent state 2. But this time the initial shooter will gain immunity for reporting all the racist nazis in his unit, telling horror stories about the times they microagressed him or put a pepe the frog sticker on someting.

3 goals are achieved,

They can blame the shooting on nazis

Protestors/rioters now have the fear of rogue nazi national guard units gunning them down

dems can begin going after the military and national guard in earnest, discharging anyone to the right of center, to consolidate a force more likely to follow unlawful orders "for the sake of social justice and equity"

I live in a city of 50,000+ people in the Houston area. If I hadn't occasionally watched the news and lurked the farms I would literally have no idea anything was happening via my irl interactions.

Aside from curfews the same is true for the overwhelming majority of the US, even those who actually live in a metropolitan zoo outside of a few blocks. Watching video and reading discussions of the riots is 95-99% of the populations experience with them.

Controlled collapse is the absolute worst outcome, as we will just circle the drain as they kill us through death by a thousand cuts. And with the rot set in so deep, repairing things is impossible at this point. The faster we get to lawless shithole the better. I dont say that to be edgy, or because I want people to suffer, only because it seems increasingly apparent that an environment where militias can form and the two tiered justice system can be escaped is a good thing in the long run, and only tenable after a sufficient state of collapse. Lawlessness is superior to being on the leash of a government that hates you.
