I think a lot of it is because it's being dishonestly framed as "healthcare". "They are denying healthcare to trans kids", which makes it sound like they're banning ER visits and such to children. That's what's gotten all the normie neolib democrats on board with this, because they don't care to further investigate the claims of what seems like a generic "good cause".

Someone else posts a another photo of the same woman that's a better shot, and very obviously female, next too an unedited un-staged photo of Lavery that's more realistic of what he actually looks like. A dumpy man.

Yeah, its a combination of poor reporting and people just assuming HRT and hormone blockers work like magic potions. The kneejerk responses and utter lack of critical thinking skills when it comes to defending those poor "trans kids" is wild. They really don't seem to realize they're straight up defending and advocating for prolonged child abuse. Wonder what excuse the woke lefty crowd will have when the fallout starts lol

For the rightoids who point out this is a liberal problem -- there are plenty of conservative parents who would rather trans their son when he displays effeminate behavior than have him turn out to be gay. Puberty blockers+cross-sex hormones have the effect of neutering sexuality so it really is sort of a cure for homosexuality! [Jazz I'm pretty sure would have been gay but he's not gay now, he's nothing. Take it as a win!] Liberals have made cause-celebs out of two Christians who transed their kids (Baby Sitter's Club kid Mom & the Missouri Dad who testified trans "girls" should play women's sports). This is being rewarded by society. Homophobic conservatives are going to join in, in states where it's legal.

It’s because they truly believe this is the right way to treat trans kids, and all trans kids are truly trans.
If you’re an average 35 year old lib from an urban area, you probably knew some gay kids in high school who got made fun of. But they grew up to be normal healthy adults, and you’ve met other normal gay adults in your life. Being trans is basically the same thing, right? And doctors support it, you have to trust the science!

Oh yeah, like framing disagreement with TRAs has worked so well for mumsnet or other gender critical sites against TRA libel. They still get painted as literal Nazis for daring to say that "trans women are men".

I mean, TRAs would have you believe that these sites are basically just Stormfront for women, but a lot of them ban terms like "TiM" or "TiF" and require you to at least call them "MtF" or "FtM" which may seem minor, but it requires you to pretend to buy into the idea that they've somehow become female or male. This is one place where even progressives can go and complain about repulsive tranny antics without having to censor ourselves.

Bingo. When I first heard about the bills I felt an initial pang of "oh no, why would you do that?!" until it hit me that trannies were almost certainly at it again, lying about the bill. Lo and behold, the bill banned children from using hormone blockers (which are incredibly dangerous and cause life-long bone/neurological damage), HRT and SRS (which, for now, TRAs insist til they're blue in the face that no child would ever get anyway). "Trans" children can still get every kind of healthcare that any other child can get, but that parts always hidden in these articles if it shows up at all.

Leftist news outlets refuse to report the fact that the vast majority of kids who identify as trans will start identifying as their birth gender after puberty. It's something like over 85%. So that means most left-wingers aren't aware of this. The party line is that once someone identifies as trans, even if they're a child and that identification has been pushed upon them by some external force, they will be trans forever.

Most of the time, it's either due to the influence of a parent or the influence of society/friends. In 2021, identifying as trans as a kid is a ticket to guaranteed attention and special treatment. I've heard of schools throwing parties for kids who come out as trans, etc. And as we all know from being a kid, there's nothing that kids crave more than anything else than attention and special treatment.

And of course, people are told that if you do not fit 100% into the gender binary you must be trans. Nobody completely fits into all gender stereotypes, it's impossible. So some teenage guy thinks, "if I'm not wearing a wife-beater and chugging beer in the back of my beat-up pickup truck while tailgating at a football game I must be a woman."

Our motto is "Observe, not engage" - we do not interact with trans people as its not our job. Despite this - we will be called transphobic no matter what because trans people and their ideals don't like being challenged in one way or the other. For example - r/detrans is called transphobic due to how it actually tells the truth on the dangers of transitioning and is constantly under attack from AHS and similar retarded SJW circlejerks, despite it being a generally peaceful sub that does not promote hatred whatsoever.
