>the officer used name calling and foul language
oh no... the horror. How could this monster do something like that?

One of the worst things surrounding this trial are the cuckbertarians. This kind of cuckoldry is why I stopped being a libertarian. Shilling out for Fentanyl Floyd because an officer was involved, in hopes of getting some cookies from the woke crowd, is not only retarded but also will never work.

The #1 priority in every libertarian's mind is to prove that they can be the coolest democrats around.

How much did they pay this lispy nigger to testify? $5?
It's almost comical how unabashedly biased this guy is for the prosecution saying Floyd wasn't resisting on the ground, force shouldn't have been used on the ground, purposely inflicting pain on Floyd and so on.

This comes after Johnny Mercil (The use-of-force trainer) who yesterday essentially said he believed Chauvin restraining Floyd like that until EMS arrived given the circumstances was appropriate and that he himself had restrained a suspect until EMS arrived in the past.

I'm pretty curious as to how the jury is responding to all this.

Why the fuck are all these people testifying that tazing or pepper spraying Floyd would have been AOK while pinning him is way outside the pale?

For someone experiencing heart or breathing problems, either of those certainly would have sent him to the great beyond.
Because they're retards who have never actually been in this situation but feel compelled to play Armchair Peace Officer.

As someone who's been maced (by accident) that shit makes breathing surprisingly difficult and rather unpleasant. Never been tazed but electrical current of any sort has a knack for fucking with your heart.

Nah man, I'm a libertarian and this whole thing is porn to me. It's the state versus the state.

That said, I also feel that Chauvin being convicted of any of these charges is a miscarriage of justice. He's a citizen before he's a cop. As much as I don't like the police, the state shouldn't be allowed to sacrifice one of their own for a few more minutes of life.

And tazers seem to have a nasty habit of just getting shrugged off. That bitch in TN that shot the fat cop a few weeks ago comes to mind.

I really hope Nelson has a big career after this. This man's great and he's doing all this practically by himself.

Hindsight is 20/20. And it wouldn't surprise me if they're the same dolts who think "shoot the gun out of their hand", "shoot them in the leg", or "fire warning shots in the air" is sound self-defense advice.

I'm not a Thin Blue Liner, and acknowledge that cops' respect for your rights ends where their paycheck and pension begins.

But BLM and Antifa don't want cops defending themselves with force, so you can reasonably assume they sure as hell don't want you, a random citizen, defending yourself.

Lolberts have taken "at least it's not the gubbmint" to its logical conclusion.

last year a jogger stole and shot an officer with a taser, he was then shot. DA claimed it was not proportionate since tasers are not lethal

a couple of months before that incident, that same DA argued that officers using a taser should be punished since tasers are lethal

so its a matter of whether you like the one using the taser or not

They are le edgy reddit atheists that get a drugs lmao candidate and a pony dictator obsessed with dental hygiene

Look how the MPD has tried to throw Chauvin under the bus repeatedly. It's not state vs. state. It's state vs. constituency and they're trying to turn Chauvin into a sacrificial lamb to get the angry people to back down. Chauvin's not an agent of the state anymore and they're not gonna protect him from anything.

That said, I also feel that Chauvin being convicted of any of these charges is a miscarriage of justice. He's a citizen before he's a cop. As much as I don't like the police, the state shouldn't be allowed to sacrifice one of their own for a few more minutes of life.
The entire justice system is a miscarriage at this point. Maybe failed-abortion tard baby might be a better analogue, though.

Regardless, I have no particular love for anyone involved - but my antipathy for the TC, the state of MN and the racebaiters is rather strong right now.

Pepper spray can be just as dangerous for the officer as the arrestee. It is easily blown around by the wind so if you use it you can get a face full of it yourself, and that's even more true in close quarters. Tasers work to some degree but they don't keep someone restrained for longer than the taser discharge, which is about five seconds per cycle. If you need to keep someone in one place for a while, restraint is the only way to do it.

Plus, given the lethal fent dose in his system, a taser would have probably killed him as well.

The guy is literally fighting the state and all the grifting machinery by himself, if he nail a not guilty his career is going to skyrocket

That DA lost re-election and the replacement doesn't want to touch the case with a 20-ft pole. The new DA has said she views the case as purely political and petitioned for her office to be dropped. The Attorney General said: "it appears abundantly clear that your office is not disqualified from these cases by interest or relationship.” The new DA then recuses herself and has petitioned the trial judge to assign a different prosecutor or let them hire a replacement prosecutor. The case is currently in limbo as its clear theatrics.

Not gonna lie, I want to see Nelson punch this guy in the face.

I think it would be authorized under Graham vs. Connor.

That's the wildest part to me, since popular concensus appears to be Chauvin went out with plans to murder an innocent pathetic black man because it's just in his DNA. That's what you actually need to believe to connect these preposterous dots. He's a man sustained by negroid suffering.
It all seems like circular logic going into it already convinced that Chauvin murdered Floyd in cold blood and then working back from that conclusion. Why would Chauvin slowly and deliberately murder a black man in front of a dozen cameras held by a hostile crowd? Because he's just that much of a racist white devil. How is he a racist white devil? Because he slowly murdered a black man in public...

The fun part is that if Chauvin was a super omega racist it was more easy to just put Floyd in the car and gun him mafia style in a empty building/terrain, pretty sure Floyd family would have assumed he just OD and died on a ditch and it would be business as usual for them and for everyone involved
