In reference to proudnugget, in
this tweet thread (
archive), Jemma speaks about who she thinks proudnugget is, and explicitly calls proudnugget a woman, saying "...she's still going years later" and "She's unwell." Having seen Capicoli's dumbass smoke pot on Joowz ages ago, I can confirm that he is definitely not a woman. I also was under the impression that Jemma insinuated that proudnugget is the same person who faked the logs between her and Vinny (which is why I shared the posts where she talks about it), but now that I look back through her tweets, I can't find whatever I saw that had suggested that.
Furthermore, I'll admit that the comparison to Sam Hyde is a bit hyperbolic, but there is a long history (predominately on /v/) of accusing anyone who maligns Vinesauce of being Capicoli. It started in roughly 2014ish, when he started shilling the SgtFgt logs really hard in /v/ thread, you even shared the screenshots of him talking about in his chatango. But those logs kept being posted for YEARS afterward, and every time an anon linked them, they'd receive a "fuck off, capicoli" in return, mostly as a perojorative rather than a sincere accusation. This eventually spread, so that accusations of capicoli ended up just becoming a general insult to levy against those who didn't like Vinesauce.
I would recommend erring on the side of caution and skepticism when you see people suggest Capicoli is behind something, because it's pretty likely they're just misinterpreting insults or sincerely buying into them.
