I think if the world treats you like a woman, you're a woman (and vice versa for men). De Beauvoir said that women are not born, but made, and I tend to agree with her. XX and XY decide whether you're male or female, but how the rest of the world sees us and treats us is what makes us men or women. A perfectly passing m2f tranny might not have the early socialisation of a woman but she'll have to damn well learn that shit if she's ever truly going to pass, and if she truly passes as a woman in every aspect of her life it's hard for me to see her as anything but a woman with a few extra tranny-related medical issues tacked on.
