Sperg moment but the Neopets staff decided to finally remove LGBTQIA++++XYZ shit from their banned word filters awhile ago, so now people can be open about their queer genderfluid Neopets or whatever. I feel like if this was a decade ago I probably would've celebrated non-offensive words like "gay" being allowed (I remember people would be banned for even implying they had a gay character on the roleplay boards?) but IIRC it was troon shit that pushed them to lift this ban.

I've been playing it for over half my life, on and off on different accounts, I made my account around the second year of its existence. Evidence for this is... uhh... a bunch of poorly designed internet surveys. The default hypothesis is that children who aren't "affirmed" aren't that badly off, provided you offer therapy and support to help them navigate their desires etc.
