I was only really introduced to dick in the last 2 years, and he has never come off as a "based alpha comic". He seems more like an alpha sperg. Like when he needs to be funny or is trying to make a point, he just gets louder. Autistically loud.

The whole “alpha” thing for Dick came from his audience, a bunch of young dudes who subconsciously want/need a father figure and have formed an image of Dax that is incredibly far from reality.
