Not really, but the mental disorders that do manifest a pattern of spreading from person to person (usually within a peer group of young females) are those that involve body image issues, such as eating disorders BDD, so troonery could be adjacent to that.

I doubt that the amount of sex scandals is due to a fraction of cartoonists and animators being troons, most of them are usually straight guys. Look at John K. Plus, this is just CN's attempt at grabbing the older audiences, I'd argue their propaganda lies within their Steven Universe race clips.
