There’s something going on here with constructed vulnerability, just like...ok, if rumor had it that post-wall roastie Kombucha-moms were being murdered at epidemic rates I would be THRILLED to discover that wasn’t true at all, and that in fact I was in a much safer demographic than any other in the US. But troons despise this knowledge, they deny it. They are not vulnerable at all, and they know it, which is why they feel perfectly safe pretending to feel unsafe. Quite a few, I'd imagine. I hope what they see here is helping them to rethink their positions on trans issues at least slightly, if I'm being optimistic.
I mean, if someone wants to be a crossdresser then I don't really have a problem with it, just as long as you're not demanding to be considered an actual woman. This is obviously not the type of person that I don't take issue with, however. Putting on women's clothes doesn't make someone interchangeable with a woman any more than a furry putting on a fursuit makes them an actual animal.

I live in one of those states and a group I'm in that is full of mostly moms has women constantly spamming about how we need to support "trans kids" and they need to be allowed into sports of their true gender identity. These women have no idea what they're really supporting but are convinced it's the right and "kind" thing to do.
One lady even said "we should end segregated sports and just have it based off merit". Brilliant idea lady, we've definitely never had that before, I wonder what would happen?
