MauLer's become very fond of the term 'cringe' with this review, I've noticed. He used it frequently in the review to describe Snyder and his fans. He's becoming more in more insufferable with every passing day.

He's obviously still not sleeping judging by Korpon's discord screenshots. He's probably awake in anticipation for the backlash.

He probably thinks that he can get a lot of hate clicks and dumb comments or insults from the Snyder fans, what he doesn't know is that they're used to being bullied by the MSM, the access media for years so now they will just ignore his pathetic bait. They aren't the Fandom Menace.

Drinker's the closest thing we have to a protagonist of this story. There is clearly still hope for him. If he turns on EFAP, which he might not because he is a surprisingly nice person. This whole saga would be vastly improved if I actually felt invested in someone, since all the major figures for and against EFAP are all cows of various degrees, and not funny ones.

Drinker's main redeeming quality is, from what I can gather, he's just a million times 'less online' than the rest. He isn't constantly engaging in drama or attacking people for wrongthink. I think he still has a bunch of stupid takes, though. He particularly veers too far into extreme Anti-SJW takes (ex: Midsommar). I'm also pretty sure he referred to Jaws as a low-budget horror film...when it definitely had one of the bigger budgets of films coming out in 1975 (9million).

I think MauLer is really hoping the Zack Snyder Cut will result in a GOT_S8 or TLJ situation. Except one of those was universally disliked, and another involved a huge, fairly evenly split, conflict between fans of the series. I haven't seen anybody outside of these spergs try to argue Zack's version is worse than the original. Like, whether or not you think it's a good movie, everyone is in agreement it's an improvement. Because it is.

I just look forward to them bitching about the Kaiju movie being dumb. Even though that's pretty much what the entire Godzilla series is outside of the original film, Shin Godzilla and maybe the 2014 American one. You either dig it, or you don't.

Some contrivances make for a more interesting movie, it's just knowing when to use them and when to hold back that matters.

A part of me wants to see this attempt at provoking a backlash to fail as Snyder fans just ignore them. However another part of me wants to see guys like Film Gob and Tex with just one little video and don't further escalate things if EFAP retaliates. Also it turns out Tex is already familiar with them since they did an episode on Tex's response to Cosmonaut Variety Hour's BvS video.
