Not sure how old that show is or the exact timelines for this but iirc that actor was stealth up until fairly recently -- like within the last year or two. So assuming this was in production before that happened prob didn't complain or make a fuss over it to keep that up.

Nah feminists (including radfems, who literally just hate trannies because they hate all men) are at least partially responsible for this shit. You wanted to destroy traditional gender roles? You got it. Feminists have been trying to destroy men’s spaces for years (the Boy Scouts, the priesthood, etc). They portray even healthy masculinity as “toxic.” I bet there would be many less troons if men had strong male role models and groups. Plus, women are overwhelmingly responsible for voting for “progressive” laws that led to this stuff in the first place. Now the Frankenstein that they helped create has come back to bite them in the ass.

I think the pronoun horseshit made it worse. If people are obliged to use preferred pronouns or they are troonphobic the same can be applied to relationships. It's not working but gender loons try very hard to make mass troon dating a thing.

Traditional gender roles haven't been destroyed by the trans lobby, the trans are promoting that shit. Their ideology is literally the opposite of the 80s and 90s when men and women could be Boy George or Annie Lennox or whatever they wanted.

From what I used to read on r/gendercritical RIP the women there were pretty universally sad and empathetic about Jazz Jennings. No one blamed him. A lot of rad fem women are older, so they're more likely (than liberal feminists) to be mothers or even grandmothers. They care about children being groomed, it was one of their big gripes. Socially maladjusted men in their 20s giving into their fetish...yeah not so much

As for masculinity, I guess I see the most heinous trannies on here, and they are so full of toxic masculine traits with their bullying, rapey, perverted, entitled ways... its not like these dudes went into womanhood and became volunteers at the local community centre, or started doing all the housework and childcare, or being emotionally receptive to others, or anything else typically feminine that wasn't sexual. Radical feminists have been fighting this bullshit for more than forty years. Read Janice Raymond or Sheila Jeffreys. And yes, they wrote and write sympathetically about what this does not only to women but, as Jeffreys states explicitly, "to marginalized and vulnerable constituencies of gay men." And yes, they speak of how horrific it is that the mainstream media celebrated the castration of a young gay man (Jennings). Please read some primary materials: they will save you from these profoundly uninformed positions.

Yes, some radfems are crazy. But they aren't responsible for troonism. That's just ignorant. Queer theory is where you want to look for blame on this one.
