This lot just sold near the earthship place. The tweet above mentioned the earthship is next to the land they are buying. But its not right next door so I don't know if it has anything to do with anything but it gets you a near the address to poke around.

What if them buying this Earthship is them trying to get out of the Ranch and then set it on fire, or have it fall apart, and then blame it ALL on the Militia, while collecting insurance and even more Gibbs from Donators to beg more on Twitter, all the while Penny can get his grasp more on his fellow tranchers for his weird cult.

But that would imply that they are smart and actually know what they are doing.
 
The Earthship looks like a sound investment. Sure, the original creator is abandoning it "70% finished" after a decade and sure, the lack of utilities is a problem, but once these hardworking and capable women can get away from the constant right-wing harassment to work on the Earthship that'll turn around. Especially once they get all of the sustainable ecosystems in place and they power the whole thing through the renewable resource of endless COOMING.

You bring up good points. There doesn't seem to be any renewable power, nor a well on the property at first glance. It's a relatively sizable distance from their Troon HQ, and probably surrounded by hostiles. Are they intending on doing only one property, or are they going to diversify and buy out everyone in the county...
