I know that there's several Indonesians in KF and if you read this, do not talk shit about the government, the president and his relatives, or anyone rich and powerful. People could abuse the internet law here to throw you into jail and no one is immune to this. Well, you could, as long as you do so in Reddit, some imageboards, or KF.

Well, you could talk shit about the govt on Twitter or Instagram as long as you are totally anonymous and exercise OPSEC measures mentioned above. Unless you want to end up like the guy that got arrested by the "virtual police" for talking about the president's son. These virtual cops legit DM'd this guy to warn him. Fortunately he got released after deleting the comment and apologizing publicly.

You'll just end up making it to do a time sync attack. Never use a Tor over a VPN unless you're literally out of options, if you can't connect to Tor directly use a bridge.
I use Tor over a VPN every day and have never had any issues.

This post brought to you by Tor over a VPN.

Not gonna lie, i thought i had done a no-no and null was unto me when i saw the notification. Glad is just null watching our autistic asses. Thank you Null.

Thanks for the info.
I already follow almost all of them, but a do over never hurts.
Tho I'm one of the lucky ones because the government here doesn't give a fuck if you laugh at retards on the Internet.

This is all bullshit the best way to keep your information private is to post it all yourself and then wait for somebody to repost or link it then murder them in real life as a warning to all the others.

For the new users who find Null's explanation to still be too complex, here's a simpler version.

something I've noticed over the years is that IP addresses for Britbongland users on BT's ADSL network (i.e. just about everyone outside town centres and cities, not using mobile) can't be accurately geolocated due to BT's arcane routing system; the most they can tell you is that they're somewhere in England/Wales or Scotland
e.g. various geolocation sites, my antivirus program, and Google have variously located me in Rochdale, Telford, Aylesbury, Gillingham, Carmarthen, the Peak District, the Cotswolds, Cornwall, south-west Wales, or the Isle of Wight - none of which are even remotely near my town
(the Peak District is the nearest, but still the wrong county)

Still have the KF breach on my desktop if you want me to reupload it again for ya lol. Or was deleting your account only once good enough?

I was the one who wanted it to be hosted here and linked on the front page, dummy.
Guess I can't knock ya on that, the whole cluster fuck was still some laughs.

Seriously though, people do need to watch their asses unfortunately. Speech on the internet is only going to get more and more restricted, and its crazy how many people don't realize how much they've lost already.

Is there a security reason to not use LastPass, or is it just people have a problem with paying? I don't mind spending a few bucks when it works well for me, and I've never had any problems with LastPass.

Given the amount of times that company has been breached in the past decade, I wouldn't touch them with a thousand foot pole.
KeePassXC does everything I need.
