Wasn't that episode a can of worms because CN tried to sell it as a trans episode, while the writer said that wasn't even the point of the episode.

CN along with the two chucklefuck showrunners (Who removed Ms. Bellum, and allowed Blossom plus Bubbles to TWERK) were the ones who pushed that idea to generate positive media, for a reboot that no one would watch from either former fans that grew up nor children who would just watch Teen Titans Go! instead.

The episode unintentionally was offensive when said unicorn was a colt who wanted to be a unicorn, only to undergo pseudo surgery by a machine and becomes a horrifically mangled monster who blames Bubbles for why he turned out all fucked up.

The writer who did that episode didn't intend for a rather fucked up message, but depending on one's view it comes off as based.

All because CN, and those two cuck showrunners wanted brownie points.

If the casting is more mainstream, with only one token sheboon, maybe a quasi-cute Asian, I'd suspect more corporate motivation.
Which is funny since the original had this abomination the girls made to help fight along side them but got blown up by the end of her only episode.

At this point it just seems they're taking whatever they can and trying to retool it into this woke bullshit because that's dominating social media.

Because the old fucks in charge simply can't comprehend social trends anymore, or at least that's what I think.

To say nothing of that other episode where the Professor's college roommate or whatever comes by, starts mass producing clones of the PPG somehow, and then in the end he pretty much is killed by all the reject clones who want him to treat them the same way they see Prof. X treat the original trio (with love as his daughters).

And then he even made a perfect buttercup clone and then melted her down

Are you just going to ignore the fact that his name was Dick Hardly?

So, Craig McCracken actually give up his first succcesful project in the 90's? And even promote his current show in the same comment?
Man, fuck him. I can't blame about corporationism in this case, but i can't believe actually how you can shit on your first creation and promoting a newest one. It's just like if Araki (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure mangaka) shits on Phantom Blood because Steel Ball Run exists. No no no.
I know the comment is in a neutral state and i can understand that but... there's something wrong in that anyway.

Craig probably was screwed out of his rights by CN. Just saying.

Pretty sure he said the show would've never been made without him giving up the entire rights to the thing. I imagine things have changed for newer creators like Rebecca Sugar and Ian JQ but back in the 90's CN was probably ruthless. It's what helped them stay on top after all.

It legit wasn't his fault networks are a bunch of leeches. He had to play their game to get anywhere.

They actually went full St. Elsewhere with Fosters? Because that's what the comic is - the legit ending to St. Elsewhere.
Sort off, the ending was essentially Frankie finding this trunk that contains this VERY powerful friend that could create entire worlds, turns out he was locked away because the kid's parents thought he was too dangerous due to his powers. So, Frankie befriends him and kinda wants to stay in this world, until the others come to save her, the friend loses his shit and try's to destroy them until he finally cools off aaand...that's it.
