I've seen detrans TRAs. They basically start everything with "DETRANSITIONING IS SUPER RARE AND WON'T HAPPEN TO YOU THERE IS NO WAY IT WILL AND I LOVE TRANS PEOPLE LOOK AT MY PRONOUNS AND EVEN IF PEOPLE DETRANS ITS ALMOST ALWAYS BECAUSE THE WORLD IS TRANSPHOBIC." Fucking exhausting.

You literally can't talk about detransitioning without getting hit wirh:

" you weren't actually trans. " ok then why did your community tell me I have to go on hormones or else I'd kill myself?

"you need to shut up because you're harming trans people" no thanks

"you're just a terf pretending to be detrans (aka their reason to go after /r/detrans)," you can't say you support detrans people and then accuse all of them of lying.

detrans PL; I'm a male detransitioner but I don't really spend time on r/detrans or in detrans circles. Most of the people there are women as the effects of T are much more permanently noticeable than the effects of E and naturally they'd need more support. I've definitely been hit with the "were never really trans" schtick, though. I think the idea that someone can be "innately trans" (as is what seems to be perpetuated by groomers) is gross - transitioning is a cope. One of the worst ways to cope, mind you. Of course being a guy I avoid TERF accusations :lol:

understanding trans ideology is crucial to dismantling it. i am mainly here to lol and say whatever i want, but this thread is surprisingly informative, and i have seen multiple different long form interpretations of the issue that never would have never made it past the "transphobia!" stage in the community. it is a genuine thought stopping technique. if it hurts someone's feelings, we'll stop saying it! it turns out most older women on the internet being like "huh" to this shit were normal.

one benefit of this thread is showing the variety of troons in the world, kind of like birdwatching lol. a little tistic (figuratively, this isn't a pl) so i used to have a harder time telling in the more effortful photographs. i know, dumb.

Oh this argument isnt new. I have seen many a troon screetch "If black women can be considered women why cant I?" The few times they were pressed on it they tried to argue that black women thoughout history were not viewed as women. Not sure where they get that idea from (aside from pulling it out of their ass).
 
psa: if you ever see a "passing trans woman" with a deep voice that sounds like it's coming from a man, maybe with a wig, strangely feminine, and you assume they're a troon who had FFS or something, that's probably a female detransitioner who was once on T. these people will grow in number, so it's good to know them by sight (detrans butches just look like butches). sometimes they even go through voice training to raise it like trans women do, so they might sound kind of gay or odd.

There's cases of FtMs who got so altered by their transitions that once they decided to stop, it was easier for them to just live as men.

politicians are supposed to have the entire district's interest in mind, not just themselves.
they also love taking up space meant for females while not having female interests in mind.
