Insurance companies cover these surgeries for 2 reasons:

1. It is nigh impossible for a regretful individual to sue.

2. The surgery extends their lifespan. Setting the alleged 41% suicide issue aside, a man who has had the stinkditch installed doesnt have to take GnRH agonists anymore, just oestrogen, and even that is dramatically lowered.

A woman with a double mastectomy will not get breast cancer. A woman with a complete hysterectomy will not get ovarian cancer or cervical cancer, or heck, will never menstruate or get pregnant.
 
Small update on this post about the civil rights org that tweeted about a troon being murdered without mentioning the inconvenient facts that (1) the killer was the troon's mentally-ill mother and (2) the troon's sister was murdered as well.

They ended up deleting the old tweet (after 200+ replies calling them out) and making a new one. Let's compare!
