while i hesitantly agree, most of these "more normal" trans people are mostly offline, are okay with not passing/their birth sex being mentioned/being misgendered/have no illusions that they can "become" the other sex biologically, have thoroughly researched the surgeries and usually opt out of the most debilitating options, and didn't transition because of porn/don't have a billion paraphilias... most importantly they don't act toxically obnoxious, misogynist, or straight up aggressive, aren't trapped in a cultish mindset, and aren't obsessed with being where they aren't wanted. so they are kind of unicorns, because many of the people i described detransition. but i don't doubt that they exist. i guess older ftms are your best bet for saner trans people.
you are correct though that we hardly see these people even if they do exist. also with a lot of these traits you straight up can't tell with minimal contact and could get played down the line.
