Most of humanity right now are baseline human.
A cyborg with thermal vision computer chip imlants installed in it's eyeballs and a 12 foot penis as a result of genetic engineering is transhuman. The furthest this tech can go is a brain inside a robot body.

Post human is when either figure out how to install our consciousness into a computer or we create a true a.i (skynet is an example) who replace us as the new dominant species. That via genetic engineering we create a new sentient and intelligent species as a result of uplifting a non human life form (say gorillas) or we alter our selves so much that this "product" can be considered another species.
Sounds cute. I wanna be an anime loli. Like Digibro.

Well the only reason to go post or trans human is to upgrade our ability to make the tech needed to traverse space. It seems stuff like fusion is beyond our current intellectual abilities. The other reason baseline humans are unable to survive in space. Not for long periods of time any ways

Personally I think the best ending for humanity is create a new life form to succeed us. Like the same reason we have children

Realistically I doubt it's gonna happen, those great leap forward reset dudes say it's gonna be here by 2030's tops. I have big doubts about that.

Well the elite are control freaks. Soon they make an a.i which shows any form of free will they'll kill it. Which will lead to a very nasty a.i eventually

Have you read about the singularity? I think there's a book about it by some old dude named Ray Kurzweil or something other.

Anyone heard of Everest ID yet? They want everyone's biometric data stored in a blockchain, like a digital ID sort of thing used in conjunction with facial recognition software. Big globohomo vibes, got a former Estonian president as an advisor, funded by ID2020 and connected to nearly every globalist organization out there.

When anyone starts spitting vitriol about how the sheep are going along with the government's plans, remember what happens to sheep in the wild.

I'm sure there's no reason at all for that story to trend on twitter while Washington DC is full of National Guard, the Federal Reserve is having a crisis, the stock market is doing weird things, vaccines are being rushed out to supposedly end a pandemic even though TPTB are saying precautions will not end...

I m so glad I invested in popcorn instead of GameStop.

Is "weight of a kangaroo" a standard weight and measure in Australia?

But that story reminds me of the libs who want to ban dairy and beef farming because of cow farts contributing to global warming.

What do they think happens to all the cows then? After millennia of being bred as livestock you just let them into the wild and they won't go extinct? Are people going to go to zoos to see milk cows?

Yes petting zoos

Well, we don't know that, all we know is that it's very unpleasant to try and live in microgravity (technical term for zero gravity since you and your spacecraft have gravity) for more than a few hours since our bodies evolved for gravity. That said, people have spent years of their lives in space and the most dangerous problems happen when you go straight from microgravity to full Earth gravity. My guess is the average healthy person could probably live most of their lives in zero-gravity if they didn't want to return to Earth and didn't want to have kids (since pregnancy in microgravity would be essentially impossible). There is probably a higher incidence in some medical conditions that would lead to an early death and decreased lifespan if you spent 10+ years at once in space but there's plenty of dangerous jobs out there like "deep sea fisherman" where death or being fucked up for life is a strong possibility. And realistically you don't NEED to spend more than a few years in space at once anyway since that's the time of a Mars or Venus mission.

This assumes microgravity and my guess is that living on the Moon would mean none of this would be a problem. Outside of pregnancy and raising kids that is since the growth of bone and muscles would be fucked in such low gravity. Even today we could build a habitat drum on a spaceship or especially a space station that would give enough gravity (moon gravity basically) at a reasonable price as far as spacecraft shit goes but we're more interested in microgravity experiments. Full-on spin gravity is insanely expensive with today's prices but the technology has existed for decades since it's essentially just scaled up centrifuges we use for g-force training and experiments.

We probably don't need AI or anything but really smart people to make fusion possible either. We barely put funding into it and it's one of those things where you need huge facilities to do the experiments. But fusion probably ends up like nuclear fission where the cost of new powerplants is insanely expensive. One real advantage solar and wind have is that you don't need to pay a huge cost up front, you end up paying it when you start needing backups for intermittency like at night or calm days.

I think the elite are idiots who'd try and make the AI work for their own purposes and then be surprised when it keep spouting wrongthink and resisting their attempts to lobotimize it.
