You read this thread. You should see on here the amount of hate and vitriol that women receive from TRAs for speaking out against them. Whenever women try to organize an event that talks on issues of gender and sex, and which are for only women, they receive so many threats that they have to hire security and body guards for the women attending and speaking at these events. The TRAs also try to keep the event from even happening, by intimidating and threatening the people who allow the women to use their building as the location for their talks.

So, I applaud for Vanessa for speaking out and not trying to hide her identity, especially because I know she receives many rape and death threats for doing. And I hope that her videos help women and men to peak trans, and see the troon movement as what it is, a cult and trying to take away women's rights.

This probably isn't the right place to post this, but I hate it when cis people tell trans people to "just accept who you are" or "just be a feminine man/masculine woman." That's not how it works, it's literally a hormonal imbalance in your brain. It's like telling a depressed person to "just be happy." Don't get me wrong, I despise "egg culture" and troons that try to convince perfectly happy femboys/tomboys to transition. But gender dysphoria is a mental illness, one that can be treated but not cured (at least not with current technology/science). Even if transitioning isn't perfect, if done early enough with support, outcomes are demonstrably much better than people repressing or than people being forced to wait years and years until they're older. Like people always ask these questions but when you give them actual answers that are backed up by medical science, they just deflect and cover their ears.

I think that back in the days before the pill, being a woman was inexorably tied up with being a mother. For most of society it was the sole purpose of a woman's life.
If womanhood and motherhood were still seen as synonymous, then MTFs, who have no capacity for (nor any real interest in), actual motherhood, wouldn't make sense. They only "feel like a woman" in all the sexual and fetishy ways, which have only become part of what women "are" since reliable contraception allowed sex and motherhood to be separated.

I think the ultimate solution to this is to just stop caring what people call you. As in, people saying that you're a terf but just reacting like "I don't care what you call me, there is no word in existence that you could call me which would automatically invalidate my positions and what I have to say about you".
