Incredible. He had a great chance to perform maximum scumbaggery and fake a big tip at the last minute, he could do this every day and keep the streak going forever. Phil was actually........honest today ???
 
The vest streak has ended at $50 with 10 minutes of OT on the early stream.

However, Phil stated that, if the tips goals are hit 5 consecutive times, he'll start counting it again. This happened multiple times while begging for the PS5 in November, and due the the 'festive themed' streams in December. Phil once again backpedals on something that he swore would not happen without specifying why he has changed his stance. Who saw that coming. This suggests that he really thought that last retrospective would result in some new gimmick. Now that it hasn't, he returns to this thing he resents, like an actor who can't hack it once they give up playing a fan favorite character. Just put on the vest, do your overtime, and do the convention circuit until you die - you'll never be anything more.

I do wonder where OiC was on this one. Without the 400 gifted subs this month, he is already down some $2000 from his normal monthly contributions.
I don't feel as owned and defeated as I know I could be. He's leaving me as unfulfilled as Kat is this Valentine's Day.

Edit: Also the mods since last night have been very lenient on trolling; it's like they've completely had enough of Phil's bullshit. The second vest streak ending at **TEN** further proves this point.

I guess what you guys are calling "guilt & shame" are what I see as "sorry he got caught, by anyone" & "righteously indignant & fully irate that he has to suffer any kind of consequences for any of it, even if those consequences are as minor & nothingburger as the internet continuing to laugh at him".

I think if he had the necessary acuity to register guilt/shame, he would have disappeared from the internet entirely within his first month of ever using it. And in that timeline today, not even the night manager @ his shelf stocking job would be totally sure what his first name is.

I checked and OIC just did a simple $13 khantribution under the name JohnDoe (because of course he did) and just left.
My guess is that his dad probably caught him with his credit card. So sad.
