If you've got an hour to piss away, there's a very interesting talk a researcher did about male vs female sexuality on the subject.

Basically his research concluded that women consume much more written erotica compared to men consuming more visual, explicit pornography. (Straight) women's tastes focus on confident and strong but sensitive/caring men. So two strong alpha males (like the classic KirkxSpock) breaking down and indulging in their tender hidden feelings is like doubly hot to a significant subset of women. I guess in grocery store romance novels the woman is mostly useless and only exists for the readers to paint themselves into the scene, so some enterprising middle aged erotica writers thought of just replacing her with another attractive man and the idea took off.

Also his research came to some other interesting conclusions, like how it's likely that feet are a sexual interest among a significant subset of men in basically every human culture. (So explaining shit like chinese foot binding and high heels)

It's an interesting talk, I recommend it.

The worst stuff was a slow build over time. For the first few years we didn't live together and things could be hidden easier. I'm a gender non conforming woman into gender non conforming men so trannys kinda make up a huge part of what was my dating pool since all the femme guys are trooning out *sigh* I am not unlike Sinners Sandwich in that they also tried to tell me I was trans...

Oddly enough Daddy Warbucks didn't start really shelling out the cash until my ex was really going off the deep end. I was working FT so a lot of this was stuff I found out after the fact.

Blamed the no showering thing on dysphoria.

The way it was explained to me was that it was partly that, but partly that men are (in general) more sexually motivated vs. romantically motivated, and so they enjoyed seeing two women engage with sexuality without input from a man, of their own accord. Similarly, i believe thats why women enjoy yaoi- they are (generally) more romanitcally motivated than sexually motivated, and so they like seeing two men engaged in romance unprovoked by a woman.

This jives with what i've seen/ read. Obviously theres more nuance at the individual level, but still. And i think the written vs. visual thing can be explained by this as well, given that, if women are more interested in the emotional aspect at play, they'd prefer written erotica, which has more of a capacity to focus on that.

It's a damn shame that so many gnc men troon out but I don't recommend dating trannies. Even the ones that aren't autogynephiles are mentally fucked. Trooning out is a sign of declining mental health. Even if it's a fad - the troon mindset is insanity.

I don't think they're getting the nipples removed on purpose. From what I've read it's not always possible to save the nipples, and in many cases where they put them back on, they don't really heal and might fall off. Additionally I've seen detransitioners talk about how the nipples usually become really painful afterwards and never really go back to normal sensation.

Last couple years I have been rather single for exactly these reasons. Troons hate me because I see them as the gender non conforming men they are.

I can attest that many of them retain their maleness under a thin veneer of uwu catgirl. That's why they are all porn addicted.

I am not sure how much or what kind of things my fellow kiwis would want to know but as I sit on my throne on top of peak trans these are my thoughts: Over the last 20 years I have dated, lived with, associated with, and been friends with a large number of primarily MTF though there are also some FTMs. I created an side biz that led me to a variety of conventions and pride events over the years where I got a deep dive and inside troon life. I should also mention that an alarming amount of trannys have borderline as well as narcissistic personality disorder. There was a study (Source if someone can find) that actually showed troons have a 50% more likelihood of having a personality disorder. The borderline and narc rages can explain a lot of the lolcows here. Also the sexual deviancy: Oh My God. The impulsive behavior leads to a lot of cheating. And what do these stunning and brave ladies do? They cruise for sex like gay men on Grindr and CL. I'm not surprised to see Trannys on Grindr since CL shut down the personals. I have been called a chaser in the past, but I think these guys are actually smarter than me bc they get the sex and GTFO where I stayed on for torture most of the time. Chasers are a thing and they love to come to tranny conventions. Oh yea. Google First Event Conference, Southern Comfort, Fantasia Fair... It was fun to watch the troons take over the crossdressers and sissys suck and fuck fest to turn them into medical and educational safe spaces. (I have some more stories about these) Another thing to note is how clueless troons are to actual female anatomy and how many of them are grossed out by menstruation.

I think the rad fems are onto something when they talk about internalized misogyny and some women feeling confined or overly sexualized.
If this was the 70s she could have joined a feminist commune and frolicked in the woods with her tits out with the other dykes. But in current year this is the only option since actual women only spaces are troonphobic.
