I've been lurking for a bit and fell behind reading the thread, so apologies if this was asked already. Has Jim given a reason why he "needs" HRT? Or is it purely for the asspat points?

Surely, if you're nonbinary and all that, it shouldn't matter what hormones are naturally coursing through your veins. Personally, I've only noticed hormones affect libido, my garbage waymon-exclusive organs, and maybe energy levels - but I couldn't tell you where the estrogen/testosterone levels were at for those events. There are so many other parts of the body run by hormones that you won't even sense until it's too late.

If Jim legit needs help with estrogen levels, more power to 'em. But something about the eye-burning red-orange wig, insultingly stereotypical womanlike behavior, and big fuss over this wishywashy gendertrash identity suggests he has different plans.

Jim frames this topic it in the worst way. He whines incessantly that the average consumer can't do the same things higher ups or legislators can. At most, a customer can vote with their wallet or get reputable news sources to bring horrible business practices to light. Even then, Jim doesn't want to accept that it's possible to enjoy a product and be against toxic workplaces.

The fact he needs a wig in the first place means he has given this no thought. Starting to grow out your hair is supposed to be the first step. And considering how long hair takes to grow is a big time commitment. You can always tell the trannies serious about being mildly successful as women vs. The autogynephile trender troons by the state of their hair alone.

Assuming they have hair to grow out, anyway. Jim's hairline was a tragedy to begin with, and while blocking testosterone can do a lot to reverse male-pattern baldness, he would only avoid the typical troon 5head by virtue of having a head that's almost as wide as it's tall. And that's after years of growing out his hair and likely damaging it by not knowing how (or bothering to) care for it.

It always seems to come down to ‘appealing to straight male gamers is bad’ with a bit of added jealousy if it’s a bitter social justice obsessed (Non trans) woman.

I'm not even sure the remedy Jim thinks needs to be applied can even be applied. I came to this conclusion when he started banging on about Epic and Tencent, and I think Jim called for boycotts, or at least, that was the implied conclusion. There is literally fuck-all that boycotting would do, even if you somehow got everyone to ignore brand loyalty.

If Jim got his way and we all listened to him and stopped buying/supporting the abusers in the industry ("voting with your wallet"), all that's going to happen is all those devs and publishers are going to go all-in on China, where none of this literal faggotry will get in the way as long as you keep the Party happy. All that changes is that they produce games for Chinese audiences the way Hollywood panders to them now. Fanboys will fanboy even if they now get a CCP-approved version of thier favorite franchises. Nothing would change.

Americans/Westerners cannot vote with thier wallet once the Chinese market comes into play, because they have just as much, if not more money, and the government can ghost people like Sterling who complain about industry practices too much. Its beyond the power of the collective American consumer to fix.

tl;dr - Nothing Jim suggests would change anything because China exists.

In his first "coming out" post on instagram he said something along the lines of he now feels comfortable in his own body transitioning. I feel like we can endlessly speculate about why someone who's non-binary needs HRT but I think the TL;DR will always be because they're not happy with who they are and transitioning will give them an escape from themselves and thus a restart on life. It's basically the sjw twitter version of becoming a born again christian and HRT is the baptism.

duh, all CDPR needs to do is say their LGBTQAIYTH employees, many not out (can't ask that's hate), fear for their safety and even have received death threats (can't ask, that's hate).
One even had to stab an invading potato in the night and had to call TLL b/c they became suicidal from the trauma (not reported b/c that's hate)
and that any reporter looking at the doxing is a transphobe endangering queer bodies and trans lives

If they already dumped it that was stupid as shit. Where's your leverage now, dummy? I think it's more likely this was a CDPR hater who wanted revenge on them than someone with a real extortion motive. From all accounts their source code is probably fucked beyond all belief anyway.
