Most likely the RCMP entered under exigent circumstances. A dropped 911 call from an address where the occupant has frequently called EMS for being suicidal is sufficient for them to break down the door to assess and ensure safety of life

The damage to the door lock looks like they initially breached with an impact opener. The door probably swung back to close, and I think there’s a chink of light visible top right before the guy kicks it open and makes entry. Second through the door looks female, 5 officers to pander to this numpty.
