To be fair, the guy that made that post saying that shoplifters should be treated like a minority was just joking. One look at his blog shows that he's definitely NOT on the lifters' side.

I too believe we must stop oppressing criminals, which is why all rapists and murderers and bank robbers should be released from jail. I'm sure Tumblr will be with me 100 percent.

Uhm, in a communist state you're entitled with what the government says you are, you might make something but since it's property of the people you have no right over it.

Heck, most of the arrests where exactly for that reason, people stealing bread were treated equally as people stealing a luxury car, because according to the state it's a crime against the people and severly punished.

In the minds of edgy Tumblr communists, communism is about being able to lounge around all day while the government gives you everything you need so you don't have to work. That's ignoring the fact that communist governments traditionally haven't looked favorably on people who refuse to work...

Yeah, like I said in another thread: Most Tumblr, SJWs and the likes have a seriously wrong idea about communism in general. If you try to debate them on anything they'll cover their ears and continue finding excuses to their own stupidity.

It really is rather unusual the lifters love this "anarchy in the USA" thing so much, given their love of demanding people respect this and that. If we returned to a true state of nature tomorrow, I guarantee that "kill the assholes, loot the stores, and burn this motherfucker down" would take permanent precedence over "respect people's pronouns". I'm unconvinced that the sedentary lumps of hair dye and triggers that is Tumblr's userbase would be the new ruling class. If anything, it'd be the ultra-right nuts who've been hording guns and food for years.
