DSP treated Doom Eternal like a puzzle/item hunting game with combat thrown in that he hated, and said anyone who enjoyed the game was a shill and a liar. What a fucking idiot.
 
Phil put a marvel cinematic universe tie-in game as one of his most disapointing? Rate me dumb but that's like saying a mobile game is worse than a pc game or something.

The level of unprofessionalism with just stopping in the middle of sentences and walking away because of his stupid fucking cat is appalling even by his standards. If your fat ass is too lazy to edit an actual video then at least create an environment where you can get through this fucking event without interruptions.

Imagine if he had an actual WFH job and had to go on a Zoom call. "Hey boss hang on a sec my cat is biting the wires. Jasper-kitty stop that! Don't make me spray you! That's it you're outta here!"
 
i mean i agree that FF7R isn't a remake, it's a weird pseudo-sequel. a remake would just be "here's the original game in a new engine with maybe new gameplay/gameplay elements"

not all the weird retcon ghost "the first game happened and now events are repeating" shit FF7R did.

but phil's apparently too stupid to even make that point correctly.

Jasper was supposed to be a fun addition to the streams. It turned out to be a nuisance like he predicted it would!
Still, he doesn't give a fuck. He thinks he's being cute interacting with a cat that we can't see.

What you're describing is a remaster. Remakes typically changed quite a bit from the original. At least that's how I've always felt.

His entire complaint about the combat is really stupid(shocking I know) this game was never going to be turn based, they made it clear at announcement it wasn’t turn based.
By Phil’s logic I can say every non turn based game is a disappointment because they aren’t turn based simply because I like turn based gameplay....I can say it...but I’d be a fucking baboon.

like look up what disappointment actually means Phil before you make a list about it how did FF7R gameplay not fulfill your unreasonable expectations of it being an entirely different genre....

i'm not autistic so maybe i'm wrong, but i always felt remaster = we took old game and smoothed it out a bit and maybe added higher quality textures and put it on newer console.

remake = we remade entire game from the fucking ground up.

like Demon's Souls on PS5 is a remake. Kingdom Hearts 1 on PS4 is a remaster. y'feel?

FF7R is weird because despite being called a remake, it's not JUST a remake. it's also like a weird sequel. i can't really think of anything else like it.

Calling the category "disappointments" is such a spineless cuckold move too. It's obviously for the sake of leaving him the backdoor option of "I NEVER said this game was BAD! I called it DISAPPOINTING!"
 
I'm pretty sure Cloud dressing up as a girl is what helped to put FF7R on his disappointing list, but he can't just say that he hates fags and is uncomfortable with romance/sex, so he has to use the remake/remaster excuse

I think DSP hates LOU2 because he liked Joel's shitty guy redemption story and him being killed by someone who can't forgive him upsets him.
