In the case of Jim Sterling it would have been more surprising if he didn´t troon. He had all the exceptional qualities of a future hon to the point is cliché by now
 
I'm almost certain that someone else has probably said this somewhere in the last 50ish pages since this blew up: I stopped clicking on his vids a couple of years or so ago and finally got around to unsubscribing probably about a year ago. He just doesn't give a shit about games on a quality or market level anymore and it's just a bunch of politics now.

His relationship with his audience has gone the way of many a shitty relationship where he's become a changed person who keeps stringing the other along out of desperation to not lose them. He needs to just "break up" with his gaming audience already and go pursue his new fetish partner that is fake wrestling. It's so fucking weird how the troon shit runs parallel with this entire metaphor as well. I've seen men with my own eyes troon out as some weird fucking last-ditch effort to cope with a failed relationship that they spent years crashing into the ground. Maybe this is a big cope for his failed relationship with his gamer audience.

To be honest. The last actually decent video he did that wasn't just this spiral into insanity was probably when he took media to task for showing real violence. This was a push back against Trump blaming video games, and rightfully so. Everything else around then is forgetable and things only get memorable again because of stuff like his current trooning.

At least that political angle was actually about gaming itself in a way that blankets much of the industry, but I imagine he probably took the opportunity to say a lot of "orange man bad" quips that have nothing to do with gaming at all. I'd be shocked if he didn't mention immigration, trannies or racists at all while addressing that issue.

The Trump comments didn't pick up until after this video. Part of what I remember about it was him saying even he is guilty of this because he did a video that showed the Budd Dwyer suicide. So it's notable for probably the last time he showed any form of humility whatsofuckingever.

Now he's not right about everything he claims in this video. He never has been. But it was at least... you know... not fucking horrid.

Edit: Okay. I'm fucking autistic or something, because I rewatched the video and I guess he didn't bring up him showing that. I swear he did. May have been another video, possibly even the next one. If he did, I give him credit for the humility. If he didn't I guess I'm just retarded.
