It's interesting that so many troons reject religion and yet believe that they are still born with this kind of gendered soul that doesn't match with their biological sex. Having been around in the 80's, back when you actually read the articles in porn mags because you were bored and some of them were pretty good, a lot of Hustlers and Playboy issues had articles on the AIDS crisis. It had moved from GRID (Gay Related Immunodeficiency Disorder) to Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome and there was still a lot we didn't know. I remember an article where some gay groups were wondering if lubrication caused it, since the chemicals from the lube could enter the bloodstream. One group swore by Crisco, I remember that vividly from the article.
There were articles on the leaders of the movements, how perhaps, in hindsight, the bath house culture might have fucked shit up, that perhaps gays themselves should have taken more responsibility about it. (Yes, I know, gasp, actual articles saying "Hey, gays, stop fucking everything in sight and stick with one partner and GET TESTED!" in things like Hustler and Playboy)
I remember reading an article in some porn mag about "The Lesbian Angels", which was a group of lesbians who cared for dying gay men in the hospital who had been abandoned by their friends and families. How sometimes they took the dying home so they could die with dignity.
Hell, for a while people weren't sure if you could pass it through kissing or drinking from a glass that someone who had it had drank from. Hell, look at the comedians at the time: Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Sam Kinison.
People might bitch about them now, but at the time, fucking comedians were spreading awareness about AIDS more than most government groups and health agencies. Sam Kinison's rant about "now they're saying the only way to get it is to get a load of infected semen up the ass. That shit doesn't happen by accident! You don't sit down to take a shit and HOLY SHIT I JUST GOT A LOAD OF INFECTED SEMEN IN MY ASS! OH GOD! IT ISN'T FAIR!" which probably educated more people than the mainstream press at the time.

Disclaimer: I am very sympathetic to radfems when it comes to the TRA vs. TERF fight but I still think Vanessa chose her target poorly. The arguments she made are sound but on a platform like youtube, which values aesthetics over everything else, choosing to direct them at a pretty, mostly passing tranny with a huge fanbase is objectively retarded. It makes the subject needlessly personal and, frankly, if you want it to be a 1v1 fight, there are so, so many ugly AGPs you could have picked a fight with. The "trans women are women" crowd got as far as it did because most people think of hypergay feminine males when they hear "trans woman" and playing into that narrative is not a good idea.

And this makes me MOTI, too. Lesbians are a demographic almost completely unaffected by AIDS since female-to-female transmission is so rare and yet THEY truly were at the frontlines of the fight. They stepped up for gay men out of solidarity, they took care of them, they organized politically. There's a reason that the 80s saw a lull in feminist activity and a big part of it is that lesbians abandoned them to focus on fighting for gay men.
And these are EXACTLY the type of elderly lesbians who are now written off as evil TERFs.

I'm a guy so I don't know if that has anything to do with it but honestly I find a lot of the ones doing that ultra femme shit worse than fat ogre dress go spinny types for some reason. Being a bit of a hermit when you're having mental health troubles is by itself not necessarily odd, but the one thing that I didn't come across was how she felt about friendships; did she have many friends? Did she worry about whether they were real friendships, have a tendency to gravitate towards boys or struggle to maintain lasting connections etc. This helps fill something of a gap in the picture.

You know, it's always possible when someone transitions for everything to just "work out," but when you have something like this lurking in the background it's much less likely. From my perhaps limited observation one of the biggest triggers of de-transitions seems to be just this sort of thing; when all that you have done is justified in one way and then suddenly, all at once, that justification no longer seems to hold water - it all comes to seem fake and unbelievable. The last thing you want is to experience that moment sitting alone in your room, hugging your legs against your flat chest, a few sharp chin hairs poking into your cold knees.

Thinking about them is arousing, but the thought has no natural connection with the thing. So, you get this strange disconnect where people desire to do the thing without any real knowledge of what it in fact is like. Then when they actually go act out the fantasy they find that the smell of shit is actually disgusting (who'd a thought). There are endless variations on this theme: the guy who gets obsessed with cuckolding then harasses his wife into "cucking" him except it turns out being cucked in your head is a bit different to real life and it blows up his marriage. Or the 21 year old guy who wants to be a "sissy whore" then discovers that getting sodomized by some 43 year old man is actually really humiliating and not in a good way. The disconnect problem, occurs even within porn, people imagine bizarre or deranged shit and jack off to cartoonized versions of it, but never the actual thing. I doubt many (any) autists who get off to 'guro' find mexican cartel videos titillating.
Now, some disconnects are a little less extreme which makes it easier and the thing generally does help vivify the thought.
However, for anything where you find yourself asking "how," you can rest assured that even they most likely wouldn't actually enjoy the experience of it.

I feel like you just know looking at one of these guys which way they’ll escalate.
I do not see this one issuing threats of sexual mutilation and murder toward women who gently suggest perhaps a situation in which rich middle aged white men can pluck Olympic opportunities away from poverty-stricken teenage girls of colour bears further consideration. He’ll just hurt himself, I think.
I also suspect a bit of investigation might turn up a third party in all this. Like...a domme who sensed suggesting this to him would be profitable. Something I discovered a few years back is that while the assumption is that morons who pay online sex workers are doing so because they’re already porn consoomers but are looking for the fantasy of an actual connection, sometimes particularly with religious morons, they get it into their heads that this isn’t as bad as watching porn, just sex talk with nude girls.
